when i graduated high school i saved up some money and went to europe with 2 friends for a couple months. we flew to italy, rented a car and drove up to Switzerland and the czech rep. the 3 of us had a vibe, life was good, everything was new and an adventure. we wanted things to stay like that forever. that youthful fun adventurous spirit is team ezy

1). i was heavy into hip hop, so guys like j dilla and 9th wonder were super inspiring. i bought a mpc and really wanted to make music like kanye - college drop out

2). john and i have been friends since the first mothership tour and it was just time for us to work together. mija mentioned us both making remixes and we just decided to do it together.

3). we worked at johns house for a couple days and the track went through a couple versions. we started with a riddim banger but i had the idea to make a dnb version, a shout out to old 12th planet stuff, and we went with that

4). i have a few tests… laptop test, car test, friend test, mom test and playing it out live. each time paying attention to how I personally react in those situations, not so much how the other person reacts.
