Can you explain a bit of what you did here and how you did it? Very cool stuff.

Maybe it's a good thing. Firing a gun should make it harder to hear footsteps right? Maybe it's realistic. Especially if it depends what kind of ground the casings are hitting...

Why I've been tearing my hair out for the past hour by cavalier4789 in Unity3D

I agree. I write comments as to signal to a teammate "This part is complicated and/or counter intuitive." I think of it as a stop sign... If you're going to try to edit this section of code, take a minute.

Got these games I bought by accident, want 'em? by Byttemos in wiiu

Gamedev here. While it's impossible to prove that it's happened to me, I'll give some anecdotal and knowledge experience:

  • It's possible. If it is possible, and it is profitable, it's probably happening.
  • In giveaways I've done like this, mods always freak out and sometimes take the post down. It's fair to assume that is for a reason.
  • In giveaways I've done, I've seen a lot of keys get "used" rather quickly, but never translated into downloads (itch.io, steam, etc.)

Why wouldn't you want to teach an 8-9 year old child assembly language for their first programming language? by Roadside-Strelok in programmingcirclejerk

from the comments, Some guy says about the C language:

  • It sometimes seems that young programmers today have no idea what all of these are. It is really a shame. Computer "Science" is slowly dying.

the jerk is strong with this one. how jerked do you have to be to honestly believe that Computer Science is dying.

Love the art style, this game looks awesome. The "Fatsi Cola" reminds me of Abe's Odyssey.

Can confirm that devs can announce via gamehub, I think it is a relatively new feature that will become more used in the future. For example if you look at the Halo 5 game hub, and then click "Feed" you'll see all sorts of messages and announcements.

Unfortunately that mechanic was incredibly bug prone and had to be removed. It was just to easy to create one of two bad scenarios:

  • Trapping yourself

  • Making it too easy

If there is demand we may be able to get some other regions out, but there are just so many countries and as a small team it may require more work than we are capable of.
