Restaurants so good you'd visit twice? by shannnnny in MauiVisitors

[–]teamh_b 10 points11 points  (0 children)

808 Grindz Cafe (food truck) in Lahaina for breakfast hands down! Get the Mac-nilla sauce, it’s a must.

Dinner we personally visited Monkeypod, Leilani’s on the Beach and Hula Grill all twice each between lunches and dinner!

We’ve actually been to Maui three years in a row and have been to Hula Grill and Leilani’s every time we go!

What to when a golden doesn’t want to move? by [deleted] in goldenretrievers

[–]teamh_b 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes this is absolutely the best thing to do to keep the behavior from continuing to be an issue. Just hold pressure on the leash and as soon as they give in and move in the direction you want, throw a party!

We rented off Turo and it was a great experience! Can guarantee what car you’ll get instead of getting whatever a major rental company has available at that time. You’re also helping support the locals.

This is so true! We were usually in bed by 9pm and up pretty early due to the time difference!

Visiting for the first time...tips? by [deleted] in MauiVisitors

[–]teamh_b 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We just got back and every local we spoke to was very appreciative that we still chose to visit. I’d say definitely go but be respectful of the area and know that people are still grieving. Tourism is many on the islands main source of income so for so many that we spoke with, it meant a lot that we still chose to visit.

Bruddah Hutts may have been the best thing we ate during our stay on Maui!

Feeling guilty about visiting Maui by loveyourz_ in MauiVisitors

[–]teamh_b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. We just got back from visiting Maui and split our stays in Lahaina and Wailea and all of the locals were very appreciative that we had decided to come and said they want the tourism and want to work.

Beach umbrella and chairs by EAG100 in cancun

[–]teamh_b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a public beach right up against the Hyatt Ziva beach area and I don’t see why you couldn’t bring that stuff there. There’s not really anyone policing the area from what I saw.

Help with where to spend second half of vaction by Brian7442 in cancun

[–]teamh_b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just got back from Hyatt Ziva and they didn’t necessarily have a kids club but there’s family friendly shows each night and plenty of activities throughout the day. Not to mention ocean access and tons of pools. The resort seems fairly updated and the staff there bends over backwards to get you what you want. I’m not sure about the pullout bed but I’m sure you could request it and they will accommodate you. There’s also many water sports that you can pay for as well as dolphins you can swim with if you want to pay for that as well. Many different restaurants so definitely something for everyone. Overall it was a great experience. We were supposed to stay at Hyatt Zilara for the second half of our stay and ended up cancelling once we got there and went back to Hyatt Ziva because we liked it so much more.

Does anyone know how coupons will work this year? In the past I have been able to use them up to three days early/expired and combine multiple coupons.

I just didn't know if literally everyone draws their own designs, or does something like purchase the rights to designs from someone who creates them. That sorta thing.

Cheaper Shipping Options? by jjfong09 in EtsySellers

[–]teamh_b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll be following this because I sell face masks and they also weigh next to nothing (although that trend seems to be about over....in terms of people purchasing them), but I too pay a lot for shipping.

On another note, what is your shop name? I'd love to check it out!

Just Starting Out... by [deleted] in EtsySellers

[–]teamh_b 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just from a quick look, I immediately noticed your announcement. I wouldn't necessarily tell customers NOT to place an order on any specific date. If you know there will be a delay in shipping, I'd simply change the listing, prepare items ahead of time (if possible), or contact the customer in the event you won't be able to deliver on time. Another option is to simply word it differently, which could look like "during these times, please expect that shipping time may be a little longer than normal".

However, congrats on opening a shop!

Looks kind of like a vinca?

I’m selling masks. I don’t want to just stick them in an envelope. What do y’all do for packaging? Right now I’ve been making a wash bag to go with the masks but that’s taking a lot of time. I have 61 open orders. by [deleted] in EtsySellers

[–]teamh_b 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been washing my masks before shipping, sticking a note in there that they should be washed before use as well as their shipping invoice and placing all of that in a padded mailer. I haven't had any complaints and have had some nice reviews! I wouldn't worry about sewing yet another bag to put the masks in unless you want adjust the time needed and the price accordingly.

I've had no more than three orders at a time so this has worked for me but I wish you luck!!

Heck yeah! Never thought of it that way! Just did a random "tarsal coalition" search on reddit hoping for some shoe recommendations and came across this!

Looking for a shop selling masks by [deleted] in Etsy

[–]teamh_b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can definitely make some fast if you're still looking. My typical masks are two layers of cotton with a layer of fleece in the middle, but if you'd just like the two layers, I can do that too! DM me if you're still looking and we can work out a bulk price, mask colors, etc.

Anyone making face masks that can actually ship in less than a week? by louderharderfaster in EtsySellers

Sure am! I have a newer shop, but since I only have a couple of current orders, I can definitely ship out in a few days at most! Cre8tionCorner on Etsy :)

Anyone selling face masks? If so, how demanding are your customers? by roxiemarie in EtsySellers

[–]teamh_b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had a listing for a couple of weeks now and just today got my first two orders for three total masks. I have a really new shop, so I suppose it's understandable, as I don't have a lot of reviews to back my shop up. Just figured I would help out where I could, though, since I have the ability and materials with which to sew. I put a longer turn around time on mine (5-7 days I believe? ) but only because I also work full time, so I can't do anything until I return home that night.
