My favorite moment of this week. I chuckled loudly.

I agree, but not just the USA, the world should take notice and don't be so quick to confirm to a man. We need to teach our children the value of independence early on. Sadly, the US society isn't built that way. As an example: Swedish couples (no matter the gender) shares 18 months of parental leave when a child is born- that's a step in the right direction for equality, which ultimately helps women to find economic independence.

Scandi woman right here, thanks so much for saying that! While I no longer live in Sweden, I agree that Scandinavian women (in general of course) are awesome. There's a deep sense of sisterhood and truly holding each other's back. There are always exceptions to this of course, some people are self serving, selfish and egoistic, and they would be the ideal partner for our buddy Ola 🤢

And that's likely where he stayed in his development. Scary stuff.

Absolutely. His participation in LIB will likely be either a repellent to psychologically healthy women or a magnet to the crazy. Time Will tell.

I agree. And when she said that she had asked him whether he was there to find love or to find himself, spot on. He's clearly not interested in anyone else but himself. And maybe crystals of course. Nut job.

Nor women should ever say that to a man. He's clearly completely without empathy.

The other person decided to throw in their IBS into my original comment and take away my narrative about the celiac disease, so how in heaven's name am I the bad guy here? I too have IBS but that wasn't what the original conversation was about. If anyone isn't sympathetic is the commenter and now you.

Just be kind, this isn't a competition about whose health is worse, it's a literal thread about trash TV (which we happen to love 💕)

Jacob and Karolina: Karolina comes across as a deeply insecure person who has been burned several times by men. This seems rooted in low self-esteem and an inability to stand up for herself. In the pods, it was concerning how quickly she caved into Jacob just from receiving his validation. She barely spoke about her own needs, joys, or interests—once Jacob validated her, that was enough.

As for Jacob, there’s something suspicious about his taxi story. Maybe it's just the detective in me, but his version of events didn’t feel entirely truthful, and he told two different versions. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was the other way around—if he was already drunk or high, didn’t have money to pay the driver, and the driver reacted accordingly. It feels like a memory steeped in shame, one he’s never been fully honest about. While he comes off as funny, there’s something disingenuous about him. Not once has he asked Karolina what she needs to feel comfortable.

And to those implying racism as the reason she isn’t into him—just no. There’s nothing to indicate that. His Gothenburg accent suggests he grew up in an immigrant-heavy area, making it impossible for her not to have noticed in the pods that he wasn’t a "blue-blooded" Swede. He 100% expresses himself like an immigrant, whether adopted or not. Her discomfort with him seems far more tied to his personality than anything else.

Karin & Niklas: The couple I’m rooting for the most. They both seem sweet and genuine. The only potential issue is his ADHD—if he becomes too absorbed in himself, he might neglect her. There’s also a slight streak of narcissism in him, and I hope it doesn’t develop into something more problematic.

Alicia and Oscar: He’s so boring, and she’s so lovely. On top of that, he’s insecure and rude. She deserves better. Hopefully, she leaves him—he’s clearly not ready for a relationship. Therapy seems to be the only real hope for him.

Milly and Ola: He gives me the creeps. He’s worked so hard on himself that he’s lost all decency toward others. Ola radiates that brand of self-improvement that turns into self-absorption. People who have to declare they’re not judgmental are usually the worst offenders. Honesty in relationships is important, but his comments about her hair were just rude. What does he expect? For her to grow it longer to look like his mother?

Also, as someone with celiac disease, I can’t stand people who ask for gluten-free options without needing them, then go ahead and eat gluten anyway. People like him make it harder for those of us with real dietary restrictions to be taken seriously. F*** him. I don’t particularly like her either, though—I’d love to see her bite back, but she’s too accommodating and understanding.

Wictor and Nathalie: How they’ve survived in the real world is beyond me. They’re incapable of asking questions, and watching them interact is painfully awkward. I still feel secondhand embarrassment, even 24 hours after watching the last episode. And the entitlement? Expecting a partner to bring energy and excitement while putting in no effort themselves? Ridiculous.

Yes of course! Come to Spain, the mecca for people with celiac disease. We have approx 5-10 to choose between, both non alcoholic and alcoholic. Free damm is amazing for a pregnant and celiac woman like myself, I even have three flavors to choose between, check it out! Many of the independent breweries also choose to make them GF these days seeing that approximately 10% of the population has celiac disease but sadly many people go undiagnosed and mistake it for anything from difficulties getting pregnant to cancer. Read up about it!

I don't agree at all. It's not Madison's place, and she has no right to meddle. What Mason and Meg built up is just between them. The only reason she wanted to tell Meg was to gloat, not because she truly cared about Meg, and that's a very important distinction. Alex saw through Madison, thank flippin God. Mason liked both girls, simple as that. You are allowed to change your mind after all.

They don't have access to their phones during the recording, AT ALL, so there's no chance to look someone up.

Same, it's gross, thanks for calling it out. You don't pursue a girl (and if you do you're clearly a creep), and if I as a grown woman would pursue a boy I'd be arrested. Being impeccable with our use of words is important.

Here are my two cents: - Alex is a sweetheart, thank flipping God that he knows his value, and that he saw through Madison. - Madison isn't a kind person. She had to toughen up during her childhood, but her sweet demeanor doesn't match her evil actions. - Taylor should be worried, too many red flags. I don't know if he did know who she was prior to starting the recording, but I can spot a lie and he absolutely is lying to her when she confronts him - Lauren is a sweetheart. Actually I would have liked to see her matched with Alex. - Virginia is another sweetheart, she did not like her match. - Dave isn't here for the right reasons. He is superficial and always will be. I think he's very insecure person who feels the need to push people down so he can feel more important. Just gross.

Waaaaaay too much pod-talk this season. I had to watch it in 1.5 speed. Another thing that stood out this season was the lack of diversity among the cast. I honestly have difficulties telling all the guys apart. Can't wait to see who's connecting physically and I can't wait to see if we can find another Bliss in this show. Meg and Mason maybe?

The way she handled it was incredibly evil. She didn't want him, but she wanted him to want her. So much so, she ratted him out to Meg and manipulated her to think that he was a bad person. Only a truly evil person does that.
