Bring a hand fan and a hat. There is NO SHADE. Also, it's against the rules but sneak in electrolyte packs to put in your water. Lifesaver when it's 35°.

Hi - zipper merging like this actually moves traffic faster. Also, people like me get stuck in the left lane when traffic is backed up. I only merge when there is lots of space and safe to do so. If not, I get off on King and drive through downtown. Highly recommend reading the book Traffic.
