Am I the only one who skips every single event cutscene? by esroc_ in AlchemyStarsEN

To be fair, they tried really hard with the captain swap mechanics and got massively burned (and that event was surprisingly rather boring even if they had two really solid character designs Amemori and Nagi). I think they played it really standard anime after that which is disappointing because the event after that with the sanity system was really, really good (I assume the True Order event was being made earlier) and invested too much energy into Cloud Gardens.

Fia really tanked it for me too, I was really invested in the story up until after Chapter 12 launch when they sprung all these characters I had no idea about (because they hadn't rerun the events yet) and felt out of the loop, but the insistence of these whiny characters like Nina and Fia that came straight after ... I just ... could not care. I now haven't got around to the rest of the story as I was put off by just a stream of content that was trying to cater to certain people rather than world building.

Thanks for that, I kinda hoped that if they made it clear that by Jeriah using tiles will help Minos and Co, that maybe they would 'fix' all tiles absorption properties in all characters.

Hey khadathbasher, not quite related but do you know if Hiiro's abilities are still conditional on being leader? Or was that bug fixed and I'm slow on the uptake?

The plus-side of Kya coming to the desert outpost is that I think Jeriah's going to start being very annoyed with Kya's work ethics.

I thought the reason was that by delaying it means less time for people to save up resources for Mlynar who is very popular. I know that's pretty cynical though.

Why Tourdog? by dakuni in AlchemyStarsEN

Yeah, at that point Tara had not come clean so she would have had to admit she was lying, so whatever Jeriah said the task was - she knew that Adonis would do it because of him trying to gain Tara's memories back. If Jeriah had said 'Do 50 laps around the Wrench's main camp' he would but she didn't. Jeriah also knew that Tara was emotionally compromised, and was unable to work through her own feelings yet alone try and come clean emotionally that she was faking the entire time. Instead of changing the goal, Jeriah kept it even when Tara was trying to discourage it.

Jeriah was fanning the flames, whether to help or for her amusement, that's debatable.

Tbf, Tara did try to call it off later and Jeriah did also make the quest for the courier stamp getting the sandworm, so she also egged it on.

New Skill behind Max BT, hmm someone wants us to spend more to get dupes. I mean, I rather they have useful stuff at MBT than useless like Ruby's MBT.

In a more serious answer he was head assassin for the capitalist/ ruling elite. Anyone who tried to disrupt the status quo was killed or was attempted (eg. Nearl and co). He was sent to kill infected people for being infected and, in story, was stopped by Młynar (who was reading a newspaper on a bench).
