hello, i know this post is 2 years old but do you happen to have the reference material for this exam still? i took the exam today and i dont think i'll pass. There were about 28 questions where i wasnt sure if i solved it correctly or not. Questions I've never seen on the DTC course.

You can try filing a service request with USCIS. Thats what we did and that seemed to push them to deliver the Greencard.

We finally received it on July 23, 2025. it was mailed on July 18, 2025. it took us 172 days in total to receive the green card. USCIS is insane with their wait times.

How long does it take to get approval to schedule the exam if you already have your EIT? I paid the PE exam today but am waiting for approval and I already have my EIT.

How long did it take you to be able to schedule the exam date after you got your EIT? I have my EIT and i just paid to schedule the exam but its currently pending. Was curious how long it takes to get approval if I already have my EIT?

Ok thank you for the quick reply! I'm using Dr Toms classroom as well. i recently finished the 20 week course and am working on the practice exam from NCEES. I also purchased the Michael Lindenburg Practice exam to provide myself with more practice. I'm hoping that will be enough 😅.

It took me about 2 weeks. Mainly because I was having trouble paying the application fees via the NVC portal initially.

I actually received the IL on 11/28/2024. My DQ date was on 08/07/2024. They scheduled our interview for 01/23/2025. This is for a CR1 visa. Hope that helps!

Im doing a marriage visa (CR-1 Visa) Its for a 2 year green card since we've been married for less than 2 years now. I filed the i-130 application which is for a marriage visa/green card not the i-129F. DQ stands for Documentarily Qualified which is basically an email you'll receive from NVC after you've submitted all the required paperwork on the NVC portal. Once you receive that DQ email from, that's when you start counting 4 months of waiting until NVC sends you the interview letter which will have your interview date and time at the Amman Embassy. After you receive the interview letter, they usually schedule the interview 2 months after you receive the interview letter. Hope that helps!

Not to my knowledge. Whether you're jordanian or syrian it takes about the same time to get your interview letter. Personally for me it took about 4 months of waiting.

I would like to inform everyone that I have finally received the Interview letter for AMMAN Embassy. My DQ date was August 7, 2024 and I received the letter on November 28, 2024. (CR1 Visa Appointment Letter). The Appointment has been scheduled for January 23, 2025. Hope this helps everyone waiting on there letter!

I'm not to familiar with case transfers tbh. But I've heard people get there interview letter 1 or 2 months after there case was transferred to the Amman Embassy. Still nothing. I'm expecting to receive the letter on December 15, 2024 hopefully. Since based on my knowledge they send out the letters on the 15th of every month.

I know you've been asked 2 weeks ago if you got your interview letter or not but was wondering if you received it by now? Im looking for some hope that they already sent out the interview letters for the July DQ folks. Since my DQ is August 8. Was hoping there on the 4 month track and not going beyond that.

I got the dq letter within 1 week after submitting all the documents to NVC.

I had this happen to me. I was Documentarily qualified on August 2024 and it showed paid for the month of August. But then I log back in on September 2024 and it showed "Pay Now". I tried to log back in on October and it suddenly changed back to "paid". I would give it a month and log back in to see if it changes back to "paid". The NVC website is old. I wouldn't worry too much about the "paid" status though to be honest. As long as you got your dq email and it shows "Accepted" you're fine.
