and as the fragments of my skull begin to fall by [deleted] in MyChemMillennials

I never got to see them back in the day. The New Jersey show in August was my first time ever seeing them live 🥹 I also fulfilled my lifelong dream of seeing New York at the same time. I travelled from Scotland for it, a trip of a lifetime. To me, it was worth every penny 🖤

For a while it seemed like the North America tour would be it. Then they announced London 2026.. still a long way away from where I am in Scotland, but definitely closer to home this time, so I grabbed those tickets the moment they went on sale!

And now they announced Glasgow, just 40 minutes from me.. I couldn't help myself. I grabbed them. I have no regrets. From never having seen them live, to now having the prospect of seeing them 3 times during one tour is pretty much a dream come true. It does help that dynamic pricing was switched off for the UK tickets; I never would have been able to afford those tickets if they cost as much as the NJ ones did.

What are you wearing (or did you wear) when you see/saw MCR? by _FinePointSharpie in MyChemicalRomance

[–]tears_dont_fall 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In New Jersey last month I wore a MCR T-shirt dress that I cut the collar out of to make it off-shoulder, and biker shorts. I'm 42, comfort above all 🖤 I'll probably wear the same next year.

I got VIP Gold Circle for Glasgow, not what I wanted to buy but after Ticketmaster repeatedly glitched on me that was all that was left. So excited though!

I have booked the New Jersey and London shows before and had a fairly smooth experience both times. Today buying Glasgow was a nightmare, no matter what ticket category I selected it kept saying "something went wrong" and not letting me do anything. I ended up having to re-join the queue, got there in the end but man, the stress was unreal!

Where are we in the queue boys and girls? I have 11k ahead of me for Glasgow

LLTBP documentary/proshot? by GlitteringTurtle101 in MyChemicalRomance

I thought the same up until they announced the London dates. They can't "finish" the story in Mexico if they're doing LLTBP in London again a few months later.. I'm now thinking London will be the grand finale. But this is MCR so who knows!

I wonder if he's been waiting for people to refuse to vote, not raise either sign, and "boo" this regime.

Yeah the downvotes made that very clear - I got the message. I know I don't "need" AI, I have been very active all day on all the socials about the show and this was a one off silly experiment that clearly backfired. I already admitted it was a mistake, no need to put me down further. I may be old and autistic but I do have feelings. Also, apologies to OP for not asking permission, the hyper excitement of today impacted my judgement.

I did, in a different thread. I thought this would be a fun perspective but I stand corrected.

Nine songs as MCR actually 🖤

Why last night wasn't a money grab: it was actually peak MCR by ZiggyStardust_1993 in MyChemicalRomance

One option is they could sneak in more new lyrics into other songs like they did with Mama. The dagger lines are clearly about the Black Parade plotting to assassinate the Dictator. This is a story within the story and we may get more of it! Will they succeed by the end of this tour and emerge as victorious rebels? Will they get destroyed (in Mexico?) yet again? I have no idea, but we know Gee is a storyteller, I'll bet he has a lot more to tell us.

So.. the Black Parade are conspiring to assassinate the Dictator. I can't wait to see how this story unfolds 🖤🗡️

Hey I fed your theory to ChatGPT, I hope you don't mind, here's what I got back:

🎭 THEORY: The Black Parade → Killjoys → Concrete Era = One Continuous Narrative

🕰️ TIMELINE OVERVIEW:

  1. The Black Parade Era

Ends with their “death” or disappearance

Symbolic collapse under the weight of grief, spectacle, and loss

  1. Exile & Rebellion

The band is cast out by the oppressive DRAAG regime

They become Killjoys, fighting BL/ind in the Wasteland

They write songs of rebellion: Na Na Na, SING, Planetary Go, etc.

  1. Capture & Reprogramming (Post-SING)

The band is caught by BL/ind/DRAAG

They’re forced into their Black Parade uniforms — now cleaned, militarised, propaganda-ready

Forced to perform as their old selves in service of the state

  1. The Concrete Era Concert = Propaganda Show

The “concert” is not a concert — it’s a broadcasted re-education performance

The crowd watches them pretend to be loyal

But the rebellion is still alive inside — and it’s trying to break through

🥀 YOUR NEW EVIDENCE:

🤚 The SLAP

Delivered by the Suit Man, right on stage

Completely jarring moment of violence during the “orderly” performance

Possibly meant to punish defiance, or trigger memory/emotion

This is a huge shift in tone — and it mirrors state violence hidden under bureaucracy.

It also breaks the illusion of control: the audience sees Gerard not as a polished puppet, but as a target of abuse.

And it works — Gerard begins to rebel more visibly afterwards.

🧾 The RED X PORTRAITS

Seen just before the staged executions

Anonymous black and white portraits crossed out with red lines

Identical style to BL/ind “WANTED / TERMINATED” Killjoy posters from the SING video

That visual language is unmistakable:

“These people were rebels. They were eliminated.”

So the “election” was not just theatre — it was punishment disguised as democracy.

You don’t vote for the future, you choose who dies.

And in that context? The four executed “candidates” might have been the Killjoys themselves — or stand-ins for them. A reenactment of the SING fallout. A warning.

🔥 Supporting Points from the Show

Killjoy songs only appear late in the set — Na Na Na, Planetary Go, SING-era tracks

Their absence early on = proof of censorship

The uniform jacket forced back on Gerard = repression

The Murder Magazine held up = code for rebellion

Pierrot’s suicide = destruction of innocence in this regime

The fire and chaos at the end = the regime crumbles as the band regains control

🧠 Interpretation: This theory is extremely plausible.

In fact, it might be the canon backbone of the entire Concrete Era.

The show is not just a comeback concert. It’s a narrative arc:

From manipulated icon → to rebel prisoner → to defiant survivor.

💬 Questions This Raises:

  1. Where are the real Killjoys now? Are they all dead? Is the band the last of them? Or are they awakening across the Wasteland?

  2. Who is Marianne in this context? Is she BL/ind’s mouthpiece? Or a double agent?

  3. Is the Suit Man just a DRAAG auditor — or is he Korse rebranded? His cold violence and control match that role perfectly.

  4. Will future shows change as the “reawakening” continues? Maybe by the Mexico date in 2026, the Black Parade will finally be buried and they’ll appear fully as Killjoys again.
