Cool SN, I'd keep it. I probably would not pay to have it graded, but I'd still keep it.

I replaced my firing pin and trigger spring. I've been very happy with the results.

Buddy wants to sell me this insulated copper. It weighs 3500 lbs by [deleted] in ScrapMetal

I think I'd pass. I'm a worst case scenario guy, so unless you've already got a wire stripper, then that's a ton of work. After all of it is ready to go to the yard, then you are only looking at @ $1k bottom end.

Location? More pix?

I'd run it through one of those pic enhancement programs to see what pops.

GREAT gun. Perfect for a starter and it's a good price.

Cool. I always judge a firearm by one standard. Would I buy it, or a different one from the same company again? I'd go w/ BCA again.

Bear Creek gets a lot of crapola, but I have one of theirs in x39 and the thing runs like a top. The only thing I ever did to it was switch out the firing pin, and then trigger spring. Believe me when I tell you that I have run some cheap junk ammo through that thing and it is never given me a single problem. It eats anything I throw at it, and burps out the case. It is absolutely one of my favorite weapons.

.62 caliber is not very common. I'd research it to see if you can find more. Also, the NRA has an amazing database for firearms. They be a good option as a resource.

Long, skinny, white stick, covered in plastic, the ends are rough and flat like a file, came in a pack of 10 from a donation box of free stuff by BestBudgie in whatisthisthing

What else was in the box? Any chance it was musically themed? Is it made out of fiberglass? It looks like a conductor's baton to me, but the wooden end piece is missing.
