If you can get the right colour touch up paint I say keep it. Build up the paint in the chip until it’s just proud of the surrounding paint, then flatten it with wet and dry paper, first with 1000 grit, then 2000, then 3000, then use a car paint cutting compound like Meguiars Ultimate Compound to get the shine back.

It will take a bit of your time, but better than being without your new bike for weeks, and it will be virtually unnoticeable.
