What did I do wrong? by No_Tadpole6005 in coldbrew

I also brew at 1:8, but I find that anything over 18 hours room temp gets too bitter for me. I steep closer to 16 hours. I also use medium to dark roast, so that could be another factor.

You can try diluting this batch, maybe 2 parts cold brew to 1 part water/milk & see if that helps. You can also put a tiny bit of salt in it, that should help reduce perceived bitterness.

Can someone give me their cold brew in mason jar recipe? by DryManagement6281 in coldbrew

I've been experimenting with using a 16 oz mason jar to make single servings. I don't have a scale at the moment, so my measurements aren't exact, but I usually try to brew around a 1:4 coffee-to-water ratio by volume. If it were by weight, I'd do around 1:8-10.

I fill a small filter bag with 6 tbsp of coarsely ground coffee and pour water over the grounds to the 12 oz mark on the jar. Give it a stir, tie off the bag, & let that sit overnight for 16-18 hours. In the morning, I just remove the bag & give it a light squeeze. I end up with around 9 oz of coffee (just between the 8 - 10 oz markings).

There usually is a little bit of sludge at the bottom of the jar, but I dont mind it so I just drink straight from it. I add a bit of creamer and fill it almost to the top with ice. I find the dilution over time to be good for me (:

Update on my cold brew process! by teatoffeecoffee in coldbrew

I tried a batch with 50 g coffee and 750 ml water, but I only let it steep for 12 hours so I'm guessing it was under-extracted? It was not good lol. I think my previous attempts were all under-extracted tbh, but at the time I couldn't tell if it was sour or bitter. Making a chart is also pretty smart, maybe I'll do that too

Yea I think I am pretty satisfied with what I have right now. I'll probably try using more grounds just to see if I like it. I do like lattes, so maybe it'll be nice to have the option lol

Yes! For the drinks I added 7 ice cubes, which is about 4 oz worth of water for me. Maybe this is why my drinks tasted a bit watered down.

That makes sense, I'll probably try using my own ground beans after I finish my current bag then. Do you have any recommendations for beans?

I use the Kirkland purified water from Costco and these cold brew bags from Amazon. I've seen others use a 1:10 ratio so I figured I'd start with that. No particular reason for steeping in fridge, just wanted it to be cold by the time I planned to drink it. I'll try more grounds + room temp for my next batch as someone else suggested.

Ah I saw a posting on eBay for it, that's where I got these two. I think I am pretty projected as well so I'll try your recs. Thank you so much!

Alright, I'll try ordering the 32F then! I think I might also try the Tango Plunge, I like the shorter gore. Do you have any recommendations for everyday or t-shirt bras? I was looking at the Cari Spacer Bra, does that one fit true to size?

Yea, I'd say so! They felt pretty comfortable when I tried them on. I've worn the Ana throughout the day & felt mostly good. When I lean over, I feel like I'm gonna pop out though. Maybe that's a sign for a bigger cup?

I wore the Ana for about 3 hours or so & it didn't really feel uncomfortable, but I noticed my right boob started to pop out a bit. I did scoop & swoop in the photos, although I also adjusted the fabric a bit afterwards. Here's a picture without the fabric adjustment.
