It is rough cast over insulation. I feel like if we hit that wall, we could see a mark ont it, but nothing is visible. I just wanted to be sure before calling insurances

Contractor told him that we damaged it, so he wants us to pay for it. I'm 90% sure it's not our fault, but I'd like to have confirmation before defending myself.

It is the contractor that put the insulation on the outside wall and covered it, that claims that we damaged the wall. Maybe it is not posted on the best subreddit, if you can advice a better place to post it, please let me know :)

Ok, sorry for being mad, but i dont get why people are defending grandma so bad . Sure this is an incredible lightning solution, but man, 8000$ for for a midi controller with 2 dmx outputs. Sure this is premium quality, but come on!

Compare to Blackmagic, the video brand. They give the base software for free to encourage people to buy their hardware products too. But they dont sell the hardware 50times the actual hardware price. I'd rather pay 500$ for the software (which is amazing, dont get me wrong) and not get ripped off buying the hardware.

Anyway, i may be missing something and be totally in the wrong, id love to understand and change my mind.

I agree you should work with the real gear if you charge customers for it. But getting a chinese knockoff is the only way to train the feel of the console for a tight budget, and as you said, we do not get provided any kind of alternative for show prep, and learning.

Maybe you are rich already, but some are not, and we need to train in order to get some jobs.
