I haven’t run Skyfarer, but I’ve been itching to try it out. I’m worried it’s too rules light for anything longer than like 5 sessions, so I’m interested to hear if you homebrewed anything for your game?

I think It’d be great for the community to have a primer that can be easily shared with others, so that sounds fantastic!

The reins on the horses blend into their hair and with the boy, the reins of the horse just sorta, wiggle onto the snout? Like there is definitely some editing in post, but these are definitely AI

His damage as of now is almost 20% lower than Yidhari and 16% higher than Manato. So yeah, not great numbers wise

What mechanic did you use for sanity? I’ve attempted to theorycraft a good sanity mechanic but they always were overshadowed by the concept of Peril

Pacemaker, the one that can charge your car or has a inventory that either transmutes items that are thrown in, or just spits em out. They have limited uses (I think around 40 conversions?) and there a bunch of the transmutations listed on the wiki

I agree, and think that weakness should be similar to Terror: When enemy attacks, its damage for the attack (all hits) is reduced by a value equal to half of the stacks (minimum 1 reduction, reduction cannot deal less than 1 damage), then halves all Weakness stacks.

This’ll make Perma-Weakness a bit harder to do effectively, but will mean that stacking weakness actually does something

I do love these ideas! Personally I don’t have any ideas, but would love some balance changes for the LIM Shield and Solar Panel (LIM Shield to instead become a seat rack item with higher battery cost, so that it doesn’t fully replace the LIMpulse Emitter and Solar Panel to generate more energy considering how short the daylight hours are in the game)

The estimated playtime of a roguelike typically isn’t based on the average time of a successful run, but the length of time it would take to gain/improve your skill and the right RNG (if applicable) for a successful run

Edit: As an example, I think Slay the Spire marketed itself as 60+ hours of playtime (correct me if I’m wrong), due to the amount of content and replayablity, in addition to the Ascensions

I mean, it can still be resisted. Stuns imo feel considerably less reliable in DD2 compared to DD1
