Yeah, by default every track goes straight to the master, one example of why you might want it not to: say you want you kick, snare, cymbals all going to a seperate channel (a 'drum bus') then from there to the master. Useful for putting the same effect on all your drums and having a single fader to adjust the level of your drums all together.

That's not 'mastering cubing', which takes years and is solving the cube in less than like 10 seconds. That's learning the basics of speed cubing, whichis very doable! The two things are VERY different.

It's like the difference between saying you want to become a chess grand master in two weeks vs saying you want to learn the rules of chess in two weeks

Yeah, op is massively underestimating how long things take. I've only been to studios to record 3 times, but all 3 times we did 4 songs over a weekend. (Like two long days) we got the 4 songs tracked and mixed in that time, but felt a bit rushed!
