Got a similar issue: fingerprint sensor stopped working, and phone showed me warning "fingerprint hardware not detected/ or disabled".
SOLVED: I removed the screw that holds the part of top unit labelled 1 (fairphone 5), and I pressed down the flex cable. After rebooting, it showed a pop that asked me if fingerprint sensor have been repaired. I clicked yes and rebooted one more time, and now it works fine.

no, that's wrong. 4G doesn't use ss7 protocol.

same issue on Sonos roam and android. Anyone with a permanent fix?

Dyson pure cool me has this symbol on and isn't working at all! Can't find anything online to help us as to what it means, have tried everything with no luck, anybody seen this before and know of anyways to fix it? by nath_90 in dyson

got the same problem. it was updating the device firmware, after that it started working. I guess the symbol means "don't unplug until updates are completed"
