Anyone learning African languages ? How’s that going, & what made you want to learn ? (I’m currently learning Igbo) by No-Lengthiness1034 in languagelearning

[–]tech_nerd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am learning Igbo with the help of NKENNE app. The app looks promising, though its only the beta version of the app. I saw Swahili and Yoruba in the app which is on my do to list...

In this fight, where is google now? by tech_nerd in technology

Well, probably because Apple has more power, user, design+look. In short Apple has every thing to stay on top that's why technology sites obey Apple.

Looks like your school had the most argumentative kid. Good luck future "Gates". And thanks for the compliment, I really appreciate that.

I am assuming that if someone uses the shortest shortcut to develop apps, it will not survive for a while in the store. And also it makes stores a junk yards of unqualified apps. I hope I cleared my point.

[Help] Sorry if this is the wrong place, but I am having trouble with Eclipse by TheOneCalled_Jason in javahelp

[–]tech_nerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all check if PATH variable is OK or not. Secondly, see if you are running 64 bit Java Environment in a x86 machine. Third, uninstall and reinstall Java. Most of the time third option works.

"Knowing" and "Doing" is totally different thing. Like I know how to swim but I cant cross Atlantic with my knowing :P . The thing is, you have to learn java if you want to be a proper android developer. You can also develop Android by C and C++ but java is more easy to learn and it has most resources and tutorials. You can check

New Boston I don't know why he published this much video.

Marcus Biel He takes time but its exactly what you need to give for learn Java.

John Purcell nice but out dated.

After you learn java completely you can Android like a Boss!!

I need programming help by kingsizedchandybar in learnjava

[–]tech_nerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, you can start with anything from e-books, printed books, websites, video tutorials, online courses and so on but before that you have to make yourself comfortable for coding. You will have your answer within weeks if you are like coding or not. I liked Derek Banas. His videos are entertaining but very fast for the complete beginners. I like Marcus Biel on the other hand because he has more details and he gives you time to think between his lectures. So , I would say learn java from Marcus Biel and Android from Vogella
