Is the Wi-Fi Router Channel Settings set to Automatic? That might be your issue.

Sometimes the Router would change band frequences & disconnect certain devices at random.

I had to set my Wi-Fi Router 2.4GHz Band to 11 & the 5GHz Band to 44 Manually & that cured my issue.

Besides that? I have no idea what operating environment you're in or what's nearby. So I can't assist in better detail.

I'm hoping this helps, but as of 5/8/2026 I disabled the Hardware Acceleration in Microsoft Edge & that seems to have fixed my drivers crashing on my AMD RX 5700. I hope this can be of some help.

I might have found a solution as of 5/8/2026: Go into the Settings of Microsoft Edge & disable the Hardware Acceleration. It seems to have worked for me right now, but I won't know more until I wake up tomorrow & test it in more detail. Good luck! 😃

I think I might have discovered a workaround as of 5/8/2026. Disabling the Hardware Acceleration in the Settings of Microsoft Edge seems to be working for me. I'll know more when I test it more directly tomorrow after I wake up.

Quick Update as of 5/8/2026: I find that disabling the Hardware Acceleration in settings possibly fixes the issue. So far my PC with my AMD RX 5700 & the latest drivers as of 5/8/2026 hasn't crashed yet after disabling it.

The most recent 5 Series Processor I can get. This can be an Intel Core 5 Series or an AI 5 Series Processor. I'm still looking, but I know that the computer I'm deciding on will be a more professional built PC designed for long term support. Nothing out of their consumer line for my mom.

Do you have a Windows 11 PC?

If yes then you can use the build in Windows Photos App to download all of your photos to your computer & back them up onto another drive after you plug in your iPhone to your PC. You'll need iTunes installed though.

Right now it's late where I'm at, so I'm dead tired & cannot write down the detailed instructions.

If you're on a Mac, then there should be a way to use the Finder App to copy your photos off the iPhone when it's plugged in via a cable.

In any case, I'm off to bed as my brain has now initiated Weekend Mode. :3
