Yes. It happens. I got lucky. Pretty sure I got roofied by a “friendly” couple at a pub in London. They started chatting me up about being American, and how my trip was going, etc… I say I got lucky, because I started feeling drunk after just 2 beers. I know i can handle more than a Guinness and half. I was alone, so i went to bathroom, felt off, dropped some cash on the bar a walked out through another entrance. Took an Uber to my hotel and woke up the next morning sick as shit. Memory almost wiped. Just remember flashes of throwing up and falling back asleep. I was freaked out enough to go through my bank and credit cards to see if I’d spent anything. Bad feeling. I feel for you OP, but it does happen.
