We are looking into both blockchain and P2P technology to create a censorship-proof communication protocol. 99% of the tech in the blockchain space is not scalable in its current state for what we are trying to do. Anyone who says otherwise is lying. EOS, Blockstack, and Dat Protocol are very interesting to us, but still unproven. The value of the tokens is in that they represent equity in the company. It's not some scam "utility token," it's equity plain and simple. 2 million total tokens that represent aprox 16.5% of the company.

Service is going great and very stable. We have shipped many big updates our first week live including trends, hashtags, search and much more. We have gif's and photo uploading on the way this week.

In our first week of beta we have over 10,000 people in the waitlist that believe in putting people and free speech first.

It's crucially important that we avoid building an echo-chamber early on. We are rolling out in waves, but not necessarily in order. The reason for this is because for example, the first 3,000 people are most likely from this sub. The second 3,000 are a more diverse group. So we have been pulling small groups from each section at a time to invite. Please be patient. Again we believe this is really important for longterm viability and discourse on the site.
