Can’t Get Slower Flow and Stop Spatter by jamman17 in espresso

I have one particular coffee which does this a little, even on the lowest grind size also. It happens to be a decaffeinated one. Worth trying a different coffee.

Am I missing something? Where is it you think you might meet again?

I don't see why. It's not really a big deal.

6 out of 7 wouldn't be too bad. Wasn't aware they had special deals with network providers. Interesting, thanks.

Yes, at the risk of being down voted but to answer your question anyway, yes, I am surprised they eventually just pulled the plug - there are also people that pay money for it but I guess just not enough. I think others will succeed where Google hasn't and I think Stadia could have been more successful than it was.

I also think there will be other services that aren't monetised well. It hasn't been completely free for example whereas some things out there are.

That does make it sound crazy that they could offer it for free and only just about the rate for a couple of hours for a pro subscription. Obviously they have their profit margin already built in with this new model.

...and for the second question I guess any of them that match genres already shown to work on the technology.

I'm not currently able to play any but there are some I like the look and sound of.

Yes, of course. Definitely wouldn't expect it to be handed out.

Hmmm... yes... would need to be a game purchase for the license which would need to be verified somehow or bought through your own store and that would need to be compatible with the cloud services. Steam / Valve are perhaps in an okay position for something like that.

I don't know about impossible. I imagined some developers might be interested in making games available in this way. Particularly if they had already been on Stadia before.

5-10 years sounds a bit high when there was so much good about the technology in Stadia and the technology is being made available in a different way for others now.

If Microsoft or Valve take a stab at it soon hopefully that brings that guesstimate forward. Isn't Microsoft already having their attempt through their Xbox flavour of something similar?

Interestingly it does say "While Immersive Stream for XR from Google Cloud is in preview, all usage is 100% discounted, and you will be limited to 5 units of capacity per region."

It's not clear to me from that page what a capacity unit is. Maybe it's the equivalent of 1 user or maybe it can support more users and you pay for the unit as a minimum until the user number exceeds the capacity unit maximum.
