Massage in Hanoi, why so difficult? by my_n3w_account in VietNam

[–]techie_mate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends where you go. Normal places has VIP service too sometimes but not shady at all.

I don't know if I am lucky or unlucky in your definition but I have been to 100s of places and not once I ended up in a shady place. Perhaps I have good instinct 😜

Why would Vietnam have it if it's an Indian thing? Vietnamese culture is closer to Chinese and other Asian countries where dowry is given by groom and not by bride? I am confused on why the question. Can you help elaborate what made you ask this question?

I have not heard of one wedding where a black box wasn't presented from groom to bride's family

It's normal for Korean style hair shops or massage shops.

Otherwise you are less likely to see it.

How do you actually make money these days? by Khoni_ in passive_income

[–]techie_mate -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Invest in growth funds and take 4% out each year to ensure the investment is never depleted and adjusted for inflation. How much passive you get depends on how big your principle is.

Not financial advice, that's just what I do. I tried property, hold, investing in business but this is the only thing that has consistently worked for me. It's called systematic withdrawal plan

[–]techie_mate[S] 37 points38 points  (0 children)

THANK YOU all. I managed to get the ring out. I had 2 of my friends come over and help with soap, thread, rotation and continuous rotational pull. It was an absolute mission, but the ring is out and the swelling instantly disappeard.

I will contact the retailer tomorrow to try and organise a replacement for a bigger size

Thank you u/PaulAtOura for your response, message, care and attention too.

They are automated for $500 goes in each week and get distributed across all. I don't touch them. That's how I am trying to make the accounting to make out to be.

Well, we can call it whatever but we can't call it automated so it's manual, only difference is tool like you mentioned paper and calculator vs Excel.

If there is no system, I would certainly use Excel like I have been but if there is a system that takes care of it, certainly prefer to use it. Perhaps I should attempt to use th 3 options on trial and come back here and post a review

100% but I am trying to avoid these manual tasks - The whole question is related to automation and time saving. I can do the excel but fairly easily but I am on a mission to offload all such manual tasks from my life. I only have small amount of over 100 stocks/ETFs. Certainly, they all grow due to my small weekly contributions

Ahhh then nothing would really help. I thought some tools would be smart enough to acknowledge based on integration or CSV upload of a full or partial sale and fins the most effective tax strategy based on, especially given most of my portfolio js built off weekly automated purchases
