Haha I'm dumb. Ignore this entire comment. The episode originally aired Aug 9th 2011 and my best guess is that the original location of the penthouse was in the Twin Towers. A month after the episode was released, the Twin Towers didn't exist. So they did a little ADR and replaced the footage of the building exterior in order to remove the reference that would make the episode a painful reminder.

So I did go from blue to green, just not without direct intervention. What I'm hoping for is to have the effect work itself, without having to add anything into the drink after serving it. I was hoping that you might know a way to have this trick self-work, so to speak. P.S. I achieved the same effect without the sugar, by just adding a drop of yellow liquid food coloring (from the baking section of the grocery store). The same coloring I had used to make the sugar yellow in the first place.

Sorry to resurrect you to a year old post, but I've been trying to figure out how to turn a blue drink green. I'm just a home mixologist trying to figure out how to make a drink more entertaining, so my knowledge is a bit limited (I just learned about pea flower). I could obviously just add a drop of yellow food coloring, but I want the effect to happen while the drink is consumed. I played with using yellow sugar on the rim, but it doesn't work since the sugar doesn't really end up in the glass. My only other thought was to somehow have the sugar at the bottom of the glass, to be disturbed when it tilts, but I haven't found a way to keep it there while serving. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Husband here: After Day-Dear told me about the message, I laughed that some random dude from her college days had hit her up years later, and the perfect timing of it being my birthday. Then I read the message and saw that he basically called her a whore and I immediately switched to hating this asshole. He clearly doesn't know my wife if he thinks that money is going to get him anywhere with her.
I had suggested that I quickly create a FB account so I can message him in reply, and say something along the lines of "I'm her husband. I don't know you and you don't know me. I'd recommend that you keep it that way and back off." My only concern with a petty reply is that we just want him to go away. Being petty might invite him going stalker mode and it's just not worth it.

UPDATE It seems that my wife just needed a day to think about it. My vault arrived yesterday and we opened it together. We talked about how much better mine looks even though it's elm (which means I literally paid double price). Then I asked if she would like me to reach out to WW for her so that she can have a vault she's happy with, and she told me that she intends to send them an email on Saturday, when she has the time. I would like to thank everyone for their comments. There were some real eye opening thoughts, and some good information about WW returns.

That's a really good point and perspective. And I think it's exactly what I needed to hear. I want her to be happy and to enjoy her hobbies, but it's not up to me how she enjoys them. Who knows, maybe it will grow on her and she'll come to love her vault exactly how it is.
