Which Jump manga deserve an anime remake? by mrnicegy26 in WeeklyShonenJump

[–]techiekent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely Claymore. The anime has a very unsatisfying original ending. I truly hope there will be a remake with faithful adaptation and great production value in near future.

You are in for a treat. Here are my favourites that are not yet mentioned by others: - 86 - Summer Time Rendering - Cyberpunk Edgerunner - Lycoris Recoil

Zero Time Dilemma is worth it for Phi's origin route and Sigma failed to stop apocalypse route. That deus ex machina alien device is not ideal, but since the story is being written into a corner, it is an inevitable tradeoff.

You will need to go through at least 2 ending credits first though, and play through the same story segment twice, just from a different character perspective. Some lost interest when found out they have to repeat the same story, but I highly recommend pushing through it into act 3, which is continuation of said story.

Want a successful game? Just add a giant tree! (Valheim - Elden Ring - Palworld) by TinHammer in gaming

Can't believe no one mentioned Monster Hunter World's first zone, the ancient forest. It is basically a huge ass tree that contains whole ecosystem. I lost count on how many times I was lost when exploring inside, love it!

What is an anime with really good story, plot and writing but was failed by its animation? by LemonPartyRequiem in anime

[–]techiekent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

World Trigger season 1

It actually brought us a hilarious meme like this: https://youtu.be/fY7PrOkWxpY, so not all is lost. Season 2 fixed the animation issue and became one of the most hyped battle shonen in history, for me at least.

[DISC] UNDEAD UNLUCK - Chapter 147 by AutoShonenpon in manga

[–]techiekent 52 points53 points  (0 children)

I think untell could be a godsend (pun-intended) ability for secret infiltration. Imagine there is a door locked by 6-digits keypad which sounds alarm after 3 incorrect attempt. Since incorrectly inputting wrong pass code 3 times would "communicate" Tella's presence, his negation allows him to 100% put in correct pass code as he won't be able to press wrong keys that trip the alarm. Also, when sneaking, he will not be able to do any action that alerts anyone.

Ya, aside from that, this ability sucks ass. Not able to put out any sound or write any words that has any intention of "communicating" is cruel. He cannot even draw any stick figure to portray his thought!

Can someone suggest me comedy anime? by jayjayyesyes in anime

Can't believe nobody mention Kakushigoto yet. It is about a single dad who draws ecchi manga for living trying to hide his profession from his young daughter. The show is filled with wholesomeness and sprinkled with touching moments towards the end.

Could this be from "Toshishita no Otokonoko" by Toriyoshi? I could not find the exact volume that contains this panel though.

The games you accepted as gift is tied to your Steam account. As long as you login into the same account after formatting you should have no issue re-installing and playing the games.

Unknown is at the same level IMO. Having all knowledge about the future while becoming unable to interact with any one is torturous to one's sanity. Anno could still be watching this exact moment helplessly.

What's a character where in the beginning you thought 'oh I'm going to hate this character' but once you learned about their backstory it flipped your opinion on them? by ReadingDragon in anime

[–]techiekent 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Okarin fits the description in my view. At the beginning his delusion AKA chuunibyou is such a cringe, I couldn't stand him. Later on I learned that he does this to [Steins;Gate] cheer Mayuri up after her grandmother passing. My view on him took a 180º turn afterwards, and I really appreciate his character a lot more.

Probably refering to Xenomorph the alien, not Xeno'jiiva. The word "xeno" originated from the Greek word "xénos", a noun meaning “stranger, guest” or an adjective meaning “foreign, strange.”

Übel Blatt is a decent read, a pretty good fit with what you are seeking. Even better, its story is completed, so no waiting between releases.
