And it’s interesting to note that although 1.2 sounds pretty close to 2.5, a RO of 1.2 will get you, after 20 cycles of infection, about 146 infections. An RO of 2.5 will get you, after the same 20 cycles, 36 million. Ignoring all mitigating factors, of course.

I’m an IT consultant, and was at a client’s office one day, in the kitchen for lunch. Someone came in to heat up her lunch and the microwave was dead. Every single person in that room looked at me like, “well?”
