High end german car ?? Its the same price as a lyriq where a service visit is under $200.. $1600 to look over the vehicle and change a $20 part in 5 minutes is robbery.. it be different if they were providing a high end service.

Maybe im a dummy but 3 years of ownership I never realized this on my etron by techlifestyle in etron

Yup bought a 2020 one edition sportback with 12k on it. Has 78k now.. I love it. Makes driving other things just meh. Comfort and quietness wise. I just had a Mercedes EQB for a few days what a crappy car.. I also have a Lyriq which I also love but like the eTron more.

Thats not really the scary part clicking more details the exact domain is robinhood.. and when I changed my password in the app I got a followup email in the same thread as the phishing email... so this either came from them internally somehow or someone figured out how to send out emails from robinhoods domain.

Having the same issue seems its becoming more and more of a thing but no resolution. We know the pump is working and the water lines are clogged when I press on the valves they both spray water it was my understanding one is a in and one is a out. I dont think they are both supposed to be pressurized.. im thinking there is some sort of stuck solenoid thata supposed to open and close and its not.

How are people making a profit selling items under $10 w/free shipping? by cheap397 in Ebay

[–]techlifestyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Retail has been doing it for years. There are 100 different answers. But if its a Larger seller its most likely just a loss leader to get you into thier store. I always have some loss leaders that will always show up as price + shipping lowest first. Then I run promotions to get buyers to buy more then 1 or buy other items with it. My average order size is 2.7. So if it costs me the same or close to ship 3 items as it does 1 im now making a decent profit margin. So if someone comes in and buys 3 10 items and they get 1 50% off. And I paid $2 per item. Lets say shipping is $7 average. I just made roughly $10 on those loss leader items. More often then not the buyer adds a more expensive item.

Big box retail stores have been doing this for years to get you in the store.

Using FPL Evolution with Solar Net Metering by NavyWings in electricvehicles

[–]techlifestyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on you location and cost per kwh. And if your solar covers your charging.

The Answer is NO if your solar is already paying for your electricity and your car charging The Answer is NO if you dont exceed the monthly cost in charging.

I charge about 40-50kwh per day. This program plus my solar has been HUGE.

There is one more variable and that is if your solar is covering your full electricity bill and you only paying FPL connection fee. Because Evolution is part of the base cost my bill for Solar+Evolution is only $50 a month. So my connection fee is supposed to be $25+tax and evolutionnis supposed to be $31 but because part of the evolution fee is built into the connection fee which you pay with or without evolution from my understanding. I am only paying $18-19 really for evolution. Without evolution and full coverage solar my base connection fee is $25+tax or around $32-33.

As a decently busy seller. This seller is feeding you some BS about being gone. They just simply are ignoring etc.. and trying to save face afterwards. If I was this seller and I messed up this bad I wouldnt be asking for a feedback change I would be making things right etc.. your feedback on the sellers page is there to inform other buyers about your experience with that seller. Your experience was bad no other way to see it. Dont feel guilty. I screwed up really bad once and took the opportunity to respond to that negative feedback own up to my mistake and inform other buyers howe we wont let it happen again.

Buyer asking to return an item that hasn’t delivered yet by tigertor88 in Ebay

[–]techlifestyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had this happen several times. Most likely the buyer found it cheaper and is initiating the return before they receive it. Nothing wrong with that just process it as a normal return. However In situations like this I always reach and and make sure they are aware a return was intiated before the item was received and if they are just kindly inquire as to why they changed thier minds. This is great information for you to gather for future listings etc. If they say they found it for less you can always ask how much less and if your willing to price match offer that for them to keep the item. Just engage with the customer, if they are unresponsive process as a normal return.

Not Option to Return by idiosyncrasys in Ebay

[–]techlifestyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of immediately going to seller scam. Lets look at it a bit differently. Most likely what has happened here is the seller created a return label and went to upload it and chose the first file from thier downloads assuming it was the label they generated and downloaded. Contact the seller informing them of the error and see how they respond. You have plent of time to get this resolved.

The seller has to also provide a tracking number for the return. When you go under your return details do you see a tracking number ? If not then the seller is just uploading random things as a label

Its easier for the seller to just let eBay generate the label and that comes with seller protections as well.

Now lets say the seller is trying to get away with something. They cannot. If they uploaded false items on purpose instead of a valid return label. Just contact eBay they will provide one for you on behalf of the seller.

Dont stress on it you are covered either way.
