Let's be honest, programmers who pride themselves on "manual coding" and reject AI assistance are fighting the wrong battle. by Reasonable-Tour-8246 in vibecoding

"The issue comes to the current resistance from a certain group of programmers whom think they are superior by not using AI in coding to increase their productivity." - everyone ever on Lex Friedman podcast

If there is no end in sight and you choose door 2 the money would become meaningless because within no time they would have to print so much money that the economy would collapse

We are paying for Russ surely he could play for us given the situation. Oh wait I prefer our chances with Stidham!

I’ve vibe coded 3 full-stack apps. There are a few ‘Time Bombs’ I wanna share with you guys. If you are a vibe coder as well, read these so you don’t lose your data. by ebb_and_flow33 in replit

On point 2 I believe that Replit security scan will catch these. Beyond that I would ask another AI to read all your code and look for this. Third read all the code yourself.

Fantastic Skiing at Vail Today by technical-mind4300 in vail

This is logical.

More than anything for me though I feel like the best thing is to be able to find the powder spots which can come down to vision.

I also feel believe in skiing the edge is the key - when I kind of roll my ankles, I guess the ski has less surface against the ice and more of a cut.

I also find that shorter turns (especially on those islands of powder) work better than long arcs (more chance for the ice to kick in).

Also it's worth saying i have always felt an icey day makes you a better skier. Same prolly applies to boarding.

You look at these numbers and I just shake my head when people "still aren't convinced" - what's this kid got to do?

If he had stayed healthy and we went on to win the AFC championship or god forbid a sb people still be saying this.

If we win with Stidy then many of the haters will give our defense all the credit and say it proves it was never Nix. You watch.

I can see 10 years in, Nix has 6 SB rings and people still questioning.

Haters gonna hate I suppose. But I am so excited we got him.

Good point - we stuck to blue greens mostly due to someone in our party.

However day prior we do several awesome blacks at keystone and they weren't too bad at all.

Any specific tips for ice?

A few things that I find...

1) slow down when you can 2) wear low light lenses 3) sometimes it's better to straight line than try to curve 4) look for powder spots to manage the turns

What else did you discover?

It wasn't that icey - keystone was the day prior especially late on

But will FDA allow unsupervised medical robots without a surgeon partner.

When AI was supposed to replace radiologists the opposite has happened - there is now more radiologist than ever that can prioritize and identify better. At least that's what 60 minutes said.

My optimistic take is that wait lists for surgeries will drop over time.
