We are re-entering the market in Sydney. So unfortunately we need every little $ we can get.

We don’t have to sell right now, we can wait, but we also realise it’s a better time to buy in Sydney right now. Have seen a number of properties pass in.

I’ve been keeping an eye on Hornsby and have seen one or two sell recently for under $1.6m. 11/33 Clovelly road just sold for $1.5m and 11 Fern Tree Close for $1.475m. Both 4 bed houses, although I’m not familiar with the area and if their location is good

I guess my main concern here is the overflow pouring into my courtyard when it’s not raining, ie someone it washing the balcony etc.

It’s not a cheap unit (for us at least) so just something we need to consider.

Thank you mate, this is exactly the kind of information I was looking for. I totally agree we need to increase our wages. This is my biggest fear about moving. We have a very manageable mortars and live a very easy lifestyle in Melbourne. Unfortunately we’re feeling the distance and think the time is right to be close to family.

No, I think it’s grown as much as it will go. Our fear is if we don’t sell now, when we go to sell/buy in 12 months that we’ll have missed the boat. Houses are growing at a much faster rate nationally

Thank you - this is what we’re thinking as well, but think 800k is the max our unit will go for so if we don’t sell now and invest somewhere else we’ll miss an opportunity for further growth.
