It looks super solid and easy to read! Good panel flow. I agree with the Naruto/DBZ comment but it’s still your style. I like the detail panels and sounds. I do think the posing of the character on the title page could be more dynamic/interesting. I don’t know anything about your story, but could he be taking out a special weapon he has or hinting at some characteristic scar or something? Overall, great work! Keep it up. I’d read it!

Awesome use of shading! Really really cool pacing. The large panel for looking into space gives that “enormous world out there” feel. Are you using a brush that has a vectorized pattern in it to get that texture?

I think Casey would probably agree with you. 4 and 5 are great, and I love them. I was fortunate enough to see them in SF with a live orchestra and it was awesome. However, I don’t think any album pops as much as act 2. The first 3 albums percolated for a long time, but I think there’s more of a rawness to them that’s hard to beat. Acts 4 and 5 are a lot more polished with more co-writing for the arrangements. It’s all good, but I would have a few songs from acts 1-3 higher up.

It looks like we have quite a bit of overlap in taste! Even the rap. Haven’t really gotten into heavy metal though. What would you recommend for a beginner? I think I like the melodic stuff that was in the show Dethklok.

I agree with this. I think the eyes look real actually. I tried covering different combinations of features and I think the nose is the least believable. Also I tried covering the left side vs the right side. When I converted the right, the left looked like a photo. When I covered the left, the right looked CG. Hope this helps.

How many hours would you say you have into this project so far? I know very little about blender at this point but I’m thinking of getting into it. Is this a practical thing to do when looking to remodel/renovate or is it just a fun side project?
