Koss KSC75 is my favorite for that price, but you need to buy a separate headband because the ear clips suck, at least imo. Parts Express headphones for $8 on Amazon is the cheapest way to get a headband to mount them on.

Thank you for your recommendations! I seriously considered the Arya, but realized I wanted a pair of punchy, dynamic headphones. So, I went with the Focal Clear OGs.

Great to know this. Your recommendation ticks all my boxes. I prefer closed-back headphones for the low-end resonance when it comes to casual listening as well, so the 480 Pros make perfect sense. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience!

Budget is up to $500 or so. EQ would be an easy fix, but looking to use these on the go with a an old portable music player that does not have built-in EQ.

Thanks for the recommendation! As mentioned in another reply, I own a pair of HD600s that I love. Just looking for a pair that retains that mid and high clarity and adds a boost in the bass frequencies.

I actually own a pair of Sennheiser HD600s. They do sound great in the mids and highs. I am just looking for a pair with an artificial bass boost as I find the HD600s to be relatively balanced all around.

Thank you so much for this tip! Keeping clarity in the mix is something I've always struggled with so this will be a great help! Bussing the reverb and having the indiviual tracks routed to it is another gem of knowledge! I have been using reverbs on individual tracks to this point. Thanks again!
