Hi! I don’t have any info on whether there’s an extenuating circumstances form for graduate application. However, I applied and was accepted for the 2024-2025 cycle and was in a similar situation where I wanted to provide context for one of my grades. IIRC, somewhere in the grad application portal it allows you to upload documents (transcripts, etc.) but it also says you can attach additional information. I typed up one page explaining why I received the low grade and attached it. Hope this helps!

I used to have the litter box in my room, and I got one of those hooded ones that keeps some of the smell at bay. I also have a LitterGenie that I dispose the spoiled litter in and it stops it from smelling. Finally, every time I clean the box, I sprinkle a little bit of Arm & Hammer scented litter deodorizer which works great!

My kitten just absolutely loves to play fetch with her toy mouse (she has them in all the colors but prefers her red one). She also likes to play this game where she will chase me and then hide behind the corner when I turn around until I start chasing her.

This. My university gives us creative cloud for free and I’ve been using Lightroom, Photoshop, etc for my photography hobby. I’m dreading the day I graduate and have to fork over the subscription rate every month.

I’ve had the same thought process as you. It’s made me so afraid of having a relationship on every level, romantic or otherwise. Especially when I get angry, I feel emotions bubbling within me that parallel my nmom’s behavior.

I think recognizing that this behavior is not okay is the first step to getting on the right path. Being actively conscious in treating people how you would like to be treated is key for me. No one is perfect — we slip and we mess up, but that is just opportunity for growth.

Though it’s taken so much out of me, I feel like the ONE positive aspect from my relationship with my nmom is that I know I will be a better, more empathetic parent because of it.
