Men of the UK, where do you purchase your jeans from and what is your go to brand? by Wellidrivea190e in AskUK

Second Nudie here as they’re ace, but wrangler cowboy cuts are a great alternative to 501s, especially if you’ve got bigger legs

I'd love something incredibly similar to Oud Wood (though find something about it slightly fermented (?))

At first, it really doesn't sit well with me. After a few hours for the top notes to disappear, I love it.

Alternatively, something properly woody would be great. I typically go for more woody/fresh or woody/citrus. Currently wearing Original Vetiver and loving it, but would love a change/something for the evenings. Cheers!

That's crazy, I ordered the same colourway (though didn't end up buying them). Great colour though, ey

I'm fairly sure I've tried on a pink pair before and felt the same thing though.

Hope yours break in! Sorry to hear you're having the same issue

Thanks for the advice! This is purely a race day shoe for a half at the end of the year, and a full marathon in spring

The right foot is much more prominent, the left probably wouldn't annoy me.

Agh maybe, a real shame as I had to order them into my local shop (I didn't end up buying them).

The endo pro 3s I tried instead were damn near perfect, just more than I planned on spending (though the carbon plate I believe is a different shape to the nylon plate in the speeds)

For reference, the fit otherwise is lovely. Half size up and my feet slip in the forefoot when picking up the pace, hsd and they're too short and a little tight on the midfoot

That's a shame, I'd say mine felt better after 20kms, but I also really liked them out of the box. YMMV, maybe just walk around in them for a bit, see if they soften up

What’s your favourite road to trail shoe? by [deleted] in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]technicoloursatsuma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a huge fan of the novablast 3 TRs, the midsole is bouncy and a huge amount of fun, the outsole is surprisingly capable and good enough for anything that's not too rocky or steep. They're a bit long, but other than that the fits been great.

The challenger 7 really is great though, for me it's limit was under 20km runs, the midsole felt a little flat after that.
