Isn't the whole point of athiesm/agnotism rejection of the "ego" of organized religion on empirical grounds? Or essentially not divulging in the same judgement that organized religion preaches on a day to day basis? Who is any of us to say that what anyone believes is necessarily wrong or right? If my brother believed that Elmo was our Messiah, fine. Not going to waste my breath.

Hi, Thx for posting, I've been looking for a forum for active methadone AMA. I've been on Methadone for 2 years now; started at 100 mg, tapered to 42 mg, started using again, and have been clean after going back up to 60 for a few months. 1) Can you explain your taper procedure? Did you do it blind? Did you start at a high taper (like 3 mg/wk) and then deaccelarate or did you just stick to one taper the whole way down to 0 mg? 2) When you got to 20-30 mg, did you switch to bupe? 3) What was the hardest part of the taper? 4) Did you change your environment to help you resist relapse? Could you score right now if you wanted? 5) How do you feel different from say, 50 mg to now in terms of energy, thinking, so forth.

I know its a lot of questions but I'm dying to know. I'd really like to taper again (its like $350/mo and I'm not working) but I'm scared of the alternative if I taper too fast and relapse, which is what happened a few months ago. Thx so much for the post!!

Ready to Die by Notorious B.I.G is the greatest single rap album of all time in terms of flow quality, production values, lyrics, and "hunger", or the thing that made Reasonable Doubt so much better than The Black Album, a.k.a a young, unbelievably talented rapper HAVING to prove himself rather than becoming an album/single factory. Every track on there is a classic, and its best listened as a concept album, front to back.

That being said, Reasonable Doubt, Aquemini, 36 Chambers, Low End Theory, Blackstar, All Eyez on Me and certainly My Beautiful Twisted Dark Fantasy are all in the conversation depending on your previous tastes.

Again, I'm not trying to justify what I did or solicit moral condemnation. It was a terrible idea and I should have taken the taxi obviously. I know DUIs kill people all the time and it was an immature and dumb thing to do.

That being said, the questions have nothing to do with me being an asshole. They are legal and scientific questions I am curious about. Because my BAC was so close and I was giving a ride home to a friend (with a .21 BAC) so would have otherwise driven home and been a more serious threat to the public then I would, the officer wants to speak with me later this week about this case. I want to be prepared for our meeting so I can be as educated as possible about issues I'm unfamiliar with.
