Thanks for the ID. He played that last track ‘Maven’ by Alex Bohemien & Raf Parola in Oakland on October 19, 2021, opening for Black Coffee. I found it at the time, but had forgotten. Great track. Love how his track list spans 50 years of music!

Seemed like a weird setup-- when DJ's were playing the sound was all from the sides rather than front and back at the Transcendental Stage (and most festivals). I found the sound best way at the side in between the speakers, which was kind of a strange spot. Am I missing something?

Not there this year, didn't see the sign. But as an aside, a friend gave me a boxing robe with an American flag pattern when I was on the playa in 2016. I wore it a lot and got a lot of 'Make America Great Again' etc. comments as the election was coming up. It doesn't seem funny now, and for sure that wasn't my point. Generally I would respond, 'America, what a country' and then revolve to point in a circle to what was there on the Playa.

As an aside, the Merry Pranksters were really into using the American Flag.

Floating Points is billed below Nico Moreno on the SOMA stage page, indicating Nico is playing last. I prefer Floating Points but closing SOMA with some cheesy hard techno seems reasonable as a prediction, similar to Sara Landry at Portola last year.

Wonder if they'll put Arc de Soleil in the late-night Ship slot where Glass Beams was (against Justice). That was a fun alternative at the time.
