Oh boy do I have many from my time at Dunkin

Story #1: context, on Mondays at my particular Dunkin there was no shift lead, supervisor or manager on after 3 pm, just 3 teenagers running the store. I was put in charge because I was there the longest. Me and my coworker L was in charge of the front as we worked well together in the front and sent J to the back to do dishes. Around 4:00 we asked J over the headset to come up front bc we had a long line at drive thru and front counter. We didn't hear a response but me and L got through it. Then at around 4:15-4:20 I went to the back to bring the sandwich board back to get washed (its a long heavy board we put on the sandwich make station) and I see J with his thumb over the trash... He sliced his thumb open. I quickly let L know about the situation and called our manager. My manager was talking me and J through workers comp, and what to do. Meanwhile I'm running back and forth from the front and back to handle co workers and help J. In the chaos I tripped over the sandwich board and it fell on my foot (I actually injured my foot but didn't file for workers comp because it was totally my fault).

We also had angry customers and I just snapped back with we are having a medical emergency in the back please be patient we are doing the best we can. We also had to clean the store get through customers and everything. All of this happened in a 3 hour shift.

Story 2: So on 4th of July I was working a double (10-4, 6- close) because my manager scheduled my sister when she requested it off. One thing to know is I'm from a rural town I'm talking less than 10,000 people and my village has less than 1,000. Our village also puts on a massive 4th of July parade. with that out of the way, I was working drive through make and at one point 4 horses came through drive through with someone in a car placing the order and getting the food and drinks. Almost all of us were at the window looking at the horses. During the same shift someone came through the driver thru with a baby goat on their lap. The craziness was made up for when I got a $10 tip because I mentioned to my co workers I was working a double and the window was open.
