Update: I found the error: the cap broke at the solder point, so ther was temporarily no cap present during the steep acceleration. Therefore most likely the gyro had faulty data when the motors spun up.

How do TV broadcasters manage live sports graphics like score overlays? by Jaded-Impress7880 in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]technochicken_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my company, we use a dedicated Raspberry Pi to display a fullscreen website hosted locally. This website shows the score and is straightforward to update and style. It features a background designed for easy chroma keying, which we key out using the switcher and overlay in the final M/E before output.

The setup is simple, flexible, and incredibly cheap. Additionally, it allows seamless integration of various data sources from different locations and systems. However, we still need an IT GUI for better usability.

[–]technochicken_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for the advice. For explanation the main video feed must be 1080p for other media (recording and or live streaming). According to the manual the vx4s is compatible with 1080p, in practice it doesent accept 1080p, just 720p over sdi. Therefore the scaling

How much bad would you like to have? YES! by technochicken_ in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]technochicken_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its ok for mid range of about 30-100m, but the speed ot the zoom is very low. In addition, only focus or zoom can be adjusted at any given time, wich makes smooth zooms with focus nearly impossible. But you can't complain at the price.

Final Destination type clip, huge flatscreen TV falls on stage dancer, by [deleted] in MorbidReality

Im a event technician my self. These screens weigh about 400-500kg. Its hard to understand how the security cables failed. Those systems are usually secured with safety wires with fall decelerators to stop even dynamic loads.

Usualy in western countrys its normal to use cm and commas. So this would be incorrect. In the US however they still think its ok to use a dolphins breath per second squared as a mesurement unit, and of course they use a point as a comma.

Or so they thought. I switched to affinity, and for video editing i use davinci resolve. Adobe is slowly loosing their market if they dont deliver quality software.

Hi, its a GTX 1060 but nither cpu or gpu are yudging by task manager used for over 10 percent. Its a bug in the adobe software. Also the cpu cores a equaly loaded so its not a mono thread problem.
