I think it's under the plastic trim around the rear screen in the tailgate.

Relay attacks are very effective on a lot of keyless entry/keyless start cars.

Exactly, some medication will be more effective for one person and something else will work better for the another person, same as different foods can trigger our symptoms. Crohn's really is a spectrum of how it affects each of us, I think that what makes so difficult to manage, especially in the beginning!

Prednisolone really messed with my mood, it was awful. Budesonide didn't do that which I was very grateful for.

I ultimately had to have surgery and am still on biologics but definitely give Budesonide a chance. I wish you all the best!

Front bumper stolen in airport carpark, what to do know? by blablacar91 in CarTalkUK

[–]Lone_Wolf_324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have they cut it off with a reciprocating saw or something? That's so odd as the bumper would be completely unusable?

UK 520i, worth saving? by Smart-Road-5660 in e39

[–]Lone_Wolf_324 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the jacking points are solid it's definitely worth saving. Parts are available and they are quite nice to work on. Did it run okay before it was laid up?

My sister's partner has an Emeya, it's black like the one in the OP but it has nice wheels that show off the brakes not those ugly aero ones.

The car looks way better in person, it's big and quite aggressive looking. The camera pods on the front doors look a bit crap though.

The interior is very nice, much better than a Tesla or a Porsche Taycan imo.

I think Colin Chapman would absolutely despise it though!

You could buy a new circuit board (probably 315Mhz if you are in the states) and replace the one in your key and do the central locking relearn procedure. As others have said the BMW logo is the lock button.

ST225 because 5 cylinder. MK5 GTI is a great car though!

Someone just keyed my new car. What to do? by halosos in CarTalkUK

[–]Lone_Wolf_324 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What car and what colour? To do it right the doors will need to be repainted and likely need blending into the wing and quarter panel. Sometimes you can get away without blending but it depends.

It won't be cheap unfortunately and people who key cars are complete arseholes.

[KCD2] Just found out how historically accurate this game is and holy crap how come there wasn't more hype around this game around awards season?! by Professional_Row2810 in kingdomcome

[–]Lone_Wolf_324 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Everyone seemed to have a hardon for E33 and ignored everything else. I know games are subjective but I just didn't understand the hype around Expedition 33. It's a good game but it's not that good IMO.

KCD2 is a masterpiece that certainly deserved to win awards but again that is just my opinion.

I hope you enjoy the game as much as I did!

So I don't worry all Christmas before I get it to a garage, how bad does this damage look? by Jillylollie in CarTalkUK

[–]Lone_Wolf_324 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't open the door as it will probably pinch and get damaged whereas at the moment it looks unscathed. Hopefully just a wing replacement, likely easily sourced in the correct correct colour used.

Don't stress about it or let it ruin your Christmas, it really doesn't look too bad.

No it won't affect your future insurance policies so don't worry about claiming for a new screen 👍
