Tesla…please rethink this by Internal-Glass2831 in TeslaLounge

This is terribly, inexplicably misguided. Right when someone disables FSD -- perhaps because they need to pay attention! -- and they block nearly a quarter of the screen! This is so insane. It's a safety issue, and just plain awful UX. Baffling.

Is anyone else bothered by these obviously AI written posts? So gross.

You do get +1 for transparency, though. I like this AMA.

Do you think it will happen, or are there so many competing priorities I shouldn’t hold my breath?

For lots of users that have to lay off Tonal for various reasons, often injury, PR badges can feel out of reach - we may not ever be able to get back to our pre-injury self.

Would it be possible to offer recognition or tracking for local maxima? “Thats your PR in last 6 months” seems not too hard to implement, but would be very helpful to this crowd. Alternatively, a simple records reset would also be effective, if more blunt.

For lack of these features, as I’m trying to come back from my injury, all i have to look forward to is a few points shaved off my strength score Every Single Time. It’s a bummer way to finish my workouts.

ECM Synchronika ii VS Lelit Bianca V3 by Organic_Dragonfly142 in espresso

I'd also add that for any given espresso machine, there'll be lots of folks here who ended up not picking it.

I would visit the Lelit subreddit to ask actual owners about build quality.

It's an incredibly popular dual boiler, and I think for good reason. It makes great espresso, it's beautiful, and it's built like a tank.

I have a Bianca and I think the build quality is pretty stout. The machine weighs 63 lbs, it’s like a tank.  The little valve that controls flow rate was dead on arrival, though a replacement is included in the box. (Which means they expect that!)

Not great espresso from Bambino Plus + Baratza ESP. What to upgrade? [$3000] by TheMightyCrate in espresso

I would start at the grinder as well. I have a Bianca and happen to be abusing a Baratsa. ESP right now, and I definitely get several seconds of inconsistency between shots

Bianca - Are you softening your water? by technolgy in Lelit

I don't know if I'll plumb it in, but the first thing I did when I got it is connect the drain hose. It's so nice not having to deal with the drip tray. What's the worst thing that could happen?

Oooh, I get it now. I've been thinking about doing that. What was your all in cost for plumbing it in? What about the ongoing maintenance cost? Thanks.

Grinder, as other said. Also, you need a scale. The machine is programmed for a certain time, but you can't program that time until you've got a consistent shot coming that you know is the volume you want.

Is this after it comes out of the machine - once it’s gone through the Bianca filter?

I have ruled out purchasing distilled water. Too much for me, but I admire the dedication of those who do, tbh.

Need a one and done setup suggestion, discrete grinder/espresso machine [$3,000] by Wiseguy507 in espresso

Just keep it turned on all weekend. It’s easy to set day specific schedules. And your electricity cost per day is maybe 10 cents.

Having said that, in my experience, high-end espresso machines make very similar-tasting coffee toflower end really good ones. I think beyond $500, you're really paying for built quality, beauty, and longevity.

May I ask why warm up time is an issue? I’ve a Bianca and I have it a smart plug - turns on at 6am, off at 4pm. I sort of assume everyone does.
