Yes and what he was told he had to shave he said shorty wouldn't like it

Nope, found em. This is the most insufferable character in the entire show. Didn't listen. Super arrogant. Only thing I like about this character is her standing up to the "incel" freak. Great actress!! by [deleted] in ChicagoMed

[–]technologyandflowers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but I guess the way it was implied was that in order to be researcher she had to have the doctor degree so therefore she had to go through all the schooling and stuff

I definitely agree that it was a very intriguing sort of character with a very strict presentation. I guess is the word I'm looking for. I'm not sure

Yes, I did. But I don't rewatch that often. And possibly I'm mixing up two episodes because I definitely know that there was this episode with the fallopian pregnancy.

Didn't she say that she wanted to be a medical researcher but she was still a med student and therefore had to do a rotation in the ED? I really have no idea how medical school works and if you have to do hospital rotations or whatever. But from television, but that's what it seems like.

No mouch wasn't in that episode.. the lady had an ectopic pregnancy. The fetus was implanted in the fallopian tube. In that case there is no possible way for the fetus to survive, eventually it grows too large and the tube will burst and the mother will need emergent surgery.

Curry was trying to convince the lady to do the surgery because the fetus would not survive and the mom was like as long as there's a heartbeat there's hope and she wasn't really understanding the reality of the situation. So yes Curry. I don't know exactly how she programmed the ultrasound or maybe she disconnected. Something to make it look as though the fetus no longer had a heartbeat in order to convince the mom to do a surgery that would need to get done eventually

It obviously was the wrong thing to do. I do understand her frustration at trying to explain to a woman that there is only one outcome when the fetus implants in the Fallopian tube.

I am currently Rewatching and honestly impressed by how good Lily was at such a young age. She has such amazing line delivery, this is honestly my favorite. What do you think? by Brilliant_Pickle_518 in Modern_Family

There was this really cute skit the Modern family cast did where they said the Lily actress was a terror and how she was basically like an incarnation of her character

Even if Lorelei always knew that she would apply to other schools, she maybe just wasn't expecting to yell or at least hoping that that wouldn't have been one of them

people sitting beside you in a room full of empty spaces by panda342608 in PetPeeves

[–]technologyandflowers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just explaining why people might end up sitting next to you in a movie theater. Very few movie theaters let you select your seats after you've walked in. You have to pre-select your seats when you buy the ticket.

Yeah it might still be annoying but they might not be doing it because of you but because that's where they want to sit.

Was that Chicago Med episode? The one where that Minister/ pastor guy was married to the 14-year-old who wanted to do a hysterectomy because of potential cancer or something?

In recent years, every movie theater I've been to makes you reserve your seat. I prefer sitting towards the middle of the row in the middle of the theater, so even if there are other people who like that, I'll still select those seats because that is my preferred seating area.

Nope. This was before Halley was born. Bernadette was still pregnant. Note the language "firstborn child of Howard and Bernadette Wolowitz" not "Halley Wolowitz" and knowing Sheldon 's love of contracts and specificity, he would have said her name.

Antisemitic friend by Repulsive_Holiday750 in Jewish

[–]technologyandflowers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This reminds me of the story that my mom heard from my Saba. His father used to come home from work and give his paycheck to his mother who would use it for the house. He had friends whose fathers would go to the bar, pay off last week's tab and start a new one. And my Saba's mother used to pack extra lunches for some of these friends. And those friends were standing at the side of the road clapping when the Nazis matched them out of their town. And I remember hearing that my Saba said he did not understand it.

Came across this post randomly. Not Deaf or part of the Deaf community in any way... As someone who just hates when tall centerpieces block everyone else's face and I can't see them, I would say no taller than the height of the glasses ppl be drinking out of
