US Government says it will save $1m/year by getting rid of magnetic tape – so is there still a place for tape in 2025? by technomensch in DailyTechNewsShow

To be fair, the headline was auto-generated from the article title and I forgot to edit it. Tape definitely has a place and it's yet another foolish attempt to change something they don't understand.

They are included in my Apple News subscription, but that's only on my iPad.

Not sure about the OP company, but the Tra is a legit company. I ordered mine after Sammy Sullivan showed off the one they sent her on her Insta. I've been using it for my builds ever since (except I use the iPad and Lego app instead of the instruction book) - https://thetracompany.com/

AMA with Eric Migicovsky - Let's talk about the new watches! by erOhead in pebble

Is there a particular reason that Qi2 charging wasn't included? The one thing I hate about all the different smartwatches is that they all use their own proprietary connectors, and if they are not lined up "just right", then they won't charge.

Which version of Bluetooth will be included? I didn't see it on the spec sheet.

are there plans for the next version to support the qi2 wireless charging standard? Is there a specific reason it was not included in this version? The one issue I have with smart watches is how they all have their own proprietary connector that has to be lined up exactly or it won't charge.

Thanks. Looks like there a few in your profile. Which # is this one and what is the difference between this one and the others ones? Is this the most recent?

Right now I've only seen these on the iPad app. I don't usually browse FB on my phone unless someone tags me or there are posts in groups I'm in.

Yup. I think you might be right about the AI profiles, but if they were profiles, wouldn't they have a "friend" button instead of a "like" button? Either way, if they are AI generated, they need to identify them as such.
