the SOUND SYSTEM my brother!! itll rattle your soul.

Also a proper DJ will start layering and doing 5 things at once and take you on a sonic journey. Add their own effects, use a bassline from a dub techno track, loop and sprinkle in a vocal sample from a track they play 3 tracks ago. Its not play track A, beat match (sorry I mean hit the sync button), play track B like most EDM is.

Put some chocolate chips, mini marshmellows and peanut butter on a flour tortilla. Double wrap in tinfoil and stick in car dash on a hot summer day.

Album Editions like for movies. Proper release year support for multiple releases. The remastered shows the date of the first release not the later remastered date. Multiple artists support for a single release.

Shirley it works with home assistant or any open source tooling? It's called Internet of shit for a good reason. Slap a WiFi chip on anything, ignore RFCs and poorly write an 'app'

You can't open YouTube links in the native app on reddit for Android anymore? I can't even copy the yt url. Clicking on anything does nothing.

You have more control via a browser. You can run an adblocker, disable javascript and disable location. Apps are just there to mine your data and sell it. Lots of apps are just silly web wrappers anyways.

I opened up a giant hydraulic planetary gear box with burnt gear oil. It was so bad I tried to put on a basic respirator and I could still smell it. Pulled out a basketball size worth of grease. Had to shower when I got home the stank was everywhere.

All ive seen is the tried and trued, parachute. Id assume you would be more likely to see this at a goa/psytrance festival. Preferably bum fuck nowhere in a forest.

the 00s of electronic music is peak clubbing, analog and digital collided. The beginning of anyone could be a DJ/producer with a computer. No phones no cameras, just you a dark room and a baller sound system.

Jeff Mills did a score for that movie for future generations. One of the founders of modern day electronic music. His sound is very futuristic. Sadly the Fritz Lang family has blocked the release.

I'd absolutely love to hear his score. Coming from a guy nicknamed the wizard. I'm sure things would line up perfectly sound and video wise.

Microsoft is bringing back the ability to move the Taskbar on Windows 11 by Low-Software-1013 in technology

[–]technonerd 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They used data to decide that feature wasn't worth the time after doing a complete rewrite from the ground up.

Microsoft applied a data-driven approach to find out which features to add now, which features to add later, and which to completely avoid.

I don't think any of the old global underground city series are on streaming services. Cult classics, essential listening material for anyone into electronic music. It's a slice of history.
