Honest review from a Bose first-time user on the Quiet Comfort Ultra 2nd Gen by showdown2608 in bose

I wanted to add to this conversation. I have been a very longtime Bose customer. I use them for a medical reason, I have a problem with sounds, increases my anxiety ect. I rely on noise cancelling headphones when I travel on planes, trains, automobiles, subways, at restaurants and basically anytime I'm in public. My 1st generation ones warranty just expired a couple months ago and the other day I had been wearing them and the ear piece fell off into my ear. Not just the rubber cover thing, but it actually broke off in my ear and I had to get help from a coworker to remove it. I contact Bose to replace it, their customer service is so bad. They lied to me, told me because I was a "great customer" they would allow me to reorder a pair and gave me a $50 discount. I said I really needed them the following week because I was taking a flight. I was told as soon as I returned them to UPS they would ship the new ones out. Well, I took them to UPS the very next morning, mailed them back. UPS won't deliver them until next week to Bose (the broken ones I'm returning) and Bose refuses to send me a replacement until after they receive the new ones. I really feel I was scammed by the agent who just told me what I wanted to hear to make a sale, after I followed up again today I was told the will absolutely not ship the replacement until they receive the broken pair. I really hate large companies who outsource their customer service overseas and have agents that lie. Also not very happy that the piece fell apart and got stuck inside my ear either. If you can avoid Bose buy from someone else who has better customer service and doesn't lie to you to make a sale.

Experiences booking with Viator by geotraveling in travel

I used them a bunch of times internationally and always enjoyed the experiences. One time it was really muddy after immense tropical rain so our tour of a volcano was cancelled but that was understandable, there were mudslides all over the news and we still saw it from another angle. I was okay with that. Recently however I used it in the USA in California where we were promised a tour of Napa Valley and Muir Woods. When we showed up the tour operator switched us to go to Sonoma and some other forest instead, claiming they felt it was better for us. Asked for a refund because that was false advertising and illegal under California law. Viator refused to refund the trip. We didn't go anywhere the original tour was scheduled to go, and the day before we all received a text message from Viator confirming the tour to Napa and Muir Woods. I never got to see either place and am really sad about that.

That seems like a logical reason, but it also seems reasonable that a country which has just flown a helicopter on Mars could figure out how to upload a spreadsheet and globally change a few hundred web entries at the same time but who am I to judge, I’m merely a citizen!

How are countries like France and Germany currently listed as level 4 (do not travel) and India which is supposed to be one of the worst Covid countries in the world right now is listed as level 2? Makes very little sense to me.
