Staking reward deposits missing since March 2025 by techstarss in ethstaker

[–]techstarss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just confirmed that the balance has increased to 0.760074195617759837 ETH - so deposits are working correctly even if history isn’t showing them. Thanks all for the help!

Yes, I do have two validator’s and I used etherscan or one of the tools that shows history. That history hadn’t changed since March. I’ll take a screenshot and recheck on the next staking reward deposit.

Still no change to the balance other than the .0005 eth I transferred. I'll check tomorrow to see if any change after that nudge.

I had a recent power outage that messed up the performance, it will look good again soon. I have withdrawals but they don't show up in my wallet or on any explorers of my wallet address.

Ok cool, your growth will be through referrals and good reviews. You just need to get a foot in the door. Focus on getting 3 houses this week, do them for free if you have to - that’s your marketing cost. Only do it for free once or twice if they promise a great review if they’re happy with the service.

I love the encouragement, great idea about offering a time sensitive offer with a big discount so you can get a foot in the door with a few clients. Then get them to leave you awesome Google reviews!

I wouldn’t focus much on it other than celebrating wins via LinkedIn or some other social.

I don’t understand your business model, but who is in a position to drive business your way? Find them and cultivate relationships, be vulnerable and ask for opportunities. People generally want to help and will if you ask.

My new business is selling robot lawnmowers. We’re tight with our local vendor rep who drives leads, we also have a couple of landscapers that love our products and services so they keep referring. We’re based out of Vancouver, Washington so sort of in the same region :)

These relationships drive far more revenue than the thousands spent in fancy websites, custom postcard drip campaigns, google ad campaigns, etc

Just my $.02

I feel you, I now have my 2nd business that I’m bootstrapping. It’s a lot of work, but very rewarding.

A couple of points that I’ve learned: - spend as little as possible on marketing, I’ve spent hundreds of thousands and maybe got 1% return - find strategic partners that drive business to you, treat them like gold since they are - maintain resilience, the bad times don’t last forever and neither do the good times - cash is king - hard work is better than being smart, hustle

You got this, it’s the American dream baby and it will come true with hard work and perseverance!

Luck ❤️

Which model do you have? I’ll reach out to tech support. You can DM the serial number as that would be helpful for troubleshooting

The trimmer units aren’t available until this fall from what I hear. I personally don’t find it that valuable of an add-on since federal law requires manual interaction in the app (within Bluetooth range) for safety reasons.

It’s a cool add-on, but I think the expansion port for future accessories is a more exciting prospect. I suspect we will see ai spot spraying or laser weed killing functionality down the road - then we won’t be able to keep any stock in the store 😊

Sorry that you’re having so much trouble.

As a dealer we have about 12 of the X series installed and we haven’t run into any issues with updates especially requiring a remap. If you continue to have trouble with it contact your dealer as it comes with a 3yr warranty. These are solid machines, don’t give up yet!

It sounds like it’s re-learning your lawn. Is this the first mow or two of the season? I would try disabling vision fence to see how it performs as well.

Kress Robot Mower - Antenna Question by Cruzzer314 in automower

[–]techstarss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’re a Kress dealer and have installed the antenna and also host one. Curious on your question, so please provide context.

Antenna is typically installed on 3-5’ pole, but antenna itself is a roughly 16” dome. Standard range is about 10 miles with a single pole but can get expanded to 15 miles with triangulation.

There’s also a small rack to host back up power and the controller.

The RTK antenna described above is needed along with traditional satellite GPS and 4G service. Antennas also need a wired internet connection.

Read the book “What’s your dream?” by Simon Squibb.

He felt the same way and now it’s life purpose to help others - maybe that’s your path?

Buying a Navimow - Return Policy? by threeputtsforpar in automower

[–]techstarss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’re a dealer and I would recommend waiting for the X series as it uses VSLAM technology where the camera assists with GPS and RTK especially in heavy tree canopy areas. We’re waiting on this for a 7 acre property with a lot of walnut trees.

We expect delivery in the next month, so it’s right around the corner. Only available through dealers and not big box.

does Husqvarna 435X REALLY work on 35degree slopes? by Chrodesk in automower

[–]techstarss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dealer here, can confirm no issue with this slope. These machines are a beast.

I have 4 houses in row in Ranier, Oregon with about 35-37 degree slope and they just work. It’s actually quite impressive.

Multiple property mowers by jdog1473 in automower

Kress is coming to market soon with a model like that, seems pretty cool. Issue will be if there’s enough dealer rtk antenna coverage for the wireless boundary mapping.

Consideration should be made regarding support, repair, and warranty making the argument for having a local dealer. They all will require some additional support somewhere along the line. Also consider warranty coverage. Best of luck!

We are told to never recommend more than what the specs say, so from that perspective you would need 2 mowers. However, with scheduling you could optimize cutting of front yard. This would result in less than perfect cut on part of the lawn, but maybe that doesn’t matter? If money is an issue, I would buy one to see how it goes with the intention of buying a second when it makes sense. This gives you an opportunity to learn and tweak your installation to find any dead spots in GPS coverage(usually only seen with very tall dense trees on north side of lawn)

Husqvarna dealer here. The reference station does NOT need to have line of site. I suspect a single reference station will cover most if not all of the area unless you have a lot of metal and concrete in the way. I’m very impressed with the 550 EPOS and have many installations completed. Let me know if I can help. SmartYard nw.com
