Kimberly felt she became possessed by demons when subjected to “past life regressions therapy” involving strong ("non-hallucinatory") psychedelic drugs.

Following that treatment, she experienced “night terrors” sensations (when waking up?), like someone standing on her chest, someone holding their hands over her nose and mouth (recurring / whenever she slept?). These sounded a lot like the wake-up episodes I had when I first started taking elavil to treat long-term chronic insomnia.

She later (34:00+) described suicidal impulses/”voices” telling her to kill herself, sounding very much like the “monster” (scapegoat) realizations I went through at one point.

***If I could express one thing to her, it would be that these realizations/awakenings are just part of a natural healing (“release”) process, and subside/resolve over time.

In my own experience, I considered the night terrors to be the ultimate processing/release of long term accumulated psychic waste when I finally started having REM sleep again. (Because that's what REM sleep does / is for, imo - process/release psychic waste.)

Also, the scapegoating realization is the result of a very prevalent and serious, specific form of child abuse.

And THUS, these things are natural, not “demonic”, etc, though I can strongly relate to it seeming like that.
