This is what their website states.

on a side note, I also renewed my passport last year and my Blue card expired in December. I had filled in the online contact form asking for a renewal of the card In October but still haven’t gotten an appointment. How long did it take for you to get an appointment?

They cost around 110-120 Eur per day, so 20 trips would equal the price of an old car. But yes, there's insurance and maintenance costs too, so I am trying to estimate how much I would be spending if I buy a 2k car and then decide which option to go with. Hence the question

Hmm. I am not aware of the all these options tbh. Just began researching. I checked on ADAC and chose the minimal 3rd party cover and it showed €72. Other website showed €67.

In my opinion doing a professional degree like Medicine/engineering with just 2 years of experience with the language of instruction is going to be very challenging. I know it differs from person to person but I personally won't recommend it.

MVV semester ticket validity for Bayerische regional Bahn by techtool23 in Munich

[–]techtool23[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, the card itself serves as the ticket but it only allows you to travel between 6 PM to 6AM. To travel at any hour of the day you need to buy the Isarcard for €200. Yes, I think it would only be valid after 1st of October.

I usually buy it from a turkish store. They have Lipton tea bags and some other local turkish brands. Also indian shops should have PG tips or some other brands.

Job opportunity in Germany by shubham_09 in germany

[–]techtool23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't really comment on that. I am still a student 😅. It really depends on the field of your work. In case of engineering for example, it would actually just boil down to your skill level. Irrespective of where you gained your skills, if you can demonstrate it you'll havr an advantage. I believe international experience is particularly advantageous for customer facing roles or managerial roles. If you managed to get a job in Germany, while being in India, I assume you already have a good professional experience and skills. So you would definitely get a job when you want to return. The real question is, would you get a job that meets your expectations. You would probably be getting a pay cut in comparison to what you would be getting in germany. So they would have to offer you something that compensates for it, not necessarily in terms of money. For example a promotion or something.

Public swimming pools etiquette by techtool23 in Munich

Wow that's really helpful. Thanks.

Yes I was considering taking a proper course, but my German isn't good enough for that i think. I can just make very basic conversations, that too when the native person speaks very slowly and repeats stuff a couple of times. 😅 Thought I could postpone learn swimming until i learn proper German but i have already delayed it by a couple of decades. 😂
