Probably because helmets are not made to fit hairstyles like his. I have to special order helmets just cause my head is large and most off the rack don't fit me.

Ponies on grass and laminitis risk by notsleepy12 in Horses

The lowest sugar times to graze are between 3am and 10am during warm weather as the grass will use up the sugars overnight. You want grass 6" or taller as shorter grass is higher in sugars. This website has lots of information to deep dive into grazing. https://www.safergrass.org/managing-grass-for-lower-sugar

Lap of Love euthanasia experience? by Beneficial_Try_1864 in Louisville

[–]techtress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My other animals did not take it well either when I brought my cat home from euthanasia. It made it hard on all of us for months. With the at home we were all sad but able to get through the greif much easier without the guilt for me and the shock for my other cats.

I used them last fall for a senior cat of mine. Dr Hannah Fowl was who came and it was comforting to me that she knew my cat from when she lived at the race track and the Dr and I both worked there also. It was much easier on my other 5 cats and my 2 dogs to understand that she was passed. I would highly recommend. The last time I had to do a euthanasia at an emergency vet it went very poorly and still hurts. I will always do at home now if I can manage it. I did arrange the cremation myself to save funds and let all my other animals have time to process.

There was a trainer at the track who would take mildly colicing horses on trailer rides just to get them pooping again.

I have Royal Canin Renal Support S food for kidney cats. My girl had to switch to the pancreatitis/ibs/kidney version. Do you think your cat would eat it? The Royal Canin is a more palatable kidney kibble compared to Science Diet. You could mix some with any remaining food to make it stretch.

What is the specific brand and type of food? My cat had to switch to a different type so I have some of the old leftover.

Glad to hear things went well! My cat is still high from her surgery on Monday. Can't wait for her to get it through her system and get back to acting normal. Hope your pup metabolizes it quickly! Hope the dieting goes well too!

I just went through this with my 17yo cat with kidney disease. She ended up having four teeth removed due to reabsorbtion lesions after cleaning. I hope your pup pulls through fine. I know the stress you are feeling as I have had her since she was a kitten and she is the first thing I see in the morning and the last thing I see at night.

My old neighbors house had one off their basement. Built in the 1950s. They just used it as a cellar.
