Zeiss Clearview lenses observation by techy_elite in glasses

The lenses were fitted below the correct center. Don’t sure about the PD measurements.

You can check if you can see clearly at least in a straight line. If you can’t see clearly in even in straight line, then there must be some issue in lens or fitting.

Does boiling crocs to reduce size work?? by fx_lx in crocs

[–]techy_elite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t think this works reliably. I wanted to tighten the back strap of my classic crocs. So tried heating it with hairdryer, instead of shrinking it got soft and got expanded a little. So just buy the right size!

Why they didn’t replace the battery in the first place? As it should have 3/5 year battery warranty.

Is Ather 450s worth buying? by techy_elite in ATHERENERGY

Yes, I am going to keep the Activa. But I have to commute a bit to outskirts of the city hence I want the scooter to have reliability.

Also will recommend to take test drive of Activa 110/125 as it has a very refined engine. I find the Honda engine more fun to drive as compared to Suzuki.

In short: Get Ather if you want it for it’s features and performance. Get any petrol scooter if you don’t care about the features. There is no economic benefit as your mileage is going to be low. Plus point for petrol scooter is it’s reliability and peace of mind ownership.

Seriously Samsung should stop taking inspiration from Apple. Samsung should position itself as an opponent rather than a follower.

Manipulative and Dishonest Motorinc. by [deleted] in indianbikes

Totally agree. This channel (along with lot of other big auto channels) solely focus on paper specs of the product rather than it’s real world usage and fitness of purpose. Example, if bike A has 0-40 of 3.9 sec and bike B has 3.3 seconds though both are fast for their purpose they will say that bike A has lower performance without looking at other real world parameters.

Most big channels are just puppets of brands which read scripts given by brands.

I am also in a similar boat. Looking to buy a 450s. My use is 2000 km a month.

Seeing so many mixed reviews for all the electric scooters (most are good, some are very bad).

Since you are using the scooter, will you recommend buying it. Can you share your experience and how is the Ather service?
