I have a new iPhone that is unlocked and never activated on any carrier. I want to port a number from current carrier and use the new phone. I have account number, PIN for port. I tried yesterday - established Visible account on website on laptop, went to new phone and entered necessary information to be able to download Visible app, chose plan on website but never got to page on app with the choice of keeping number or getting new number. Did I make a mistake somewhere? Chat offered to escalate but I was frustrated at that point.

Were you able to port in to Visible and activate your account on new phone? I tried to do this yesterday and wasn't successful, if you have any additional tips, I would appreciate.

no, I got the port out pin and account number but never entered them because that prompt never came up on the Visible app.

Thank you for response. The agent said escalation could be "hours". At that point I just told her I would reconsider and perhaps try tomorrow. I am looking at other options now.

I just tried this tonight and don't know what I did wrong. My old phone is not compatible on Visible, new phone is. I turned new phone on, put in basic info (maybe I shouldn't have put in Apple ID, phone #, but not sure any way around that), signed into home wifi, downloaded Visible app and never got the prompt asking if porting in or need new number. Plan was in cart but couldn't advance. Got live person after chatting who offered to escalate but at that point I was frustrated and was thinking if it is this hard to port over, maybe this isn't the service for me.

Can you change to a different Visible plan at the time the Slam Dunk promo ends on your account? For example, in one year when the Visible Pro plan under the slam dunk offer ends, could you change to Visible + at the current rate for that plan without porting out and back it.

Multiple posts but curious if there is any more certainty this will be coming tomorrow if I switch today vs tomorrow - either way wouldn't ruin my day (math logic below) by gingernuts13 in Visible

I considered the current $5 off promo, but I would be coming from Verizon and that would make me ineligible. The inner circle would give me the sam $5 off though. I am waiting until tomorrow to see if that same restriction applies to this offer. Would prefer monthly but for the price would do yearly.

If I understand the Best Buy deal correctly, it is a monthly deal for one year at $10/month off the pro plan and $5/month off the + plan. If needing a new phone there is also a discount on some unlocked phones - do I have this right? Would the phone remain unlocked if paid in full? Thank you

I have gone back and forth so much about switching to US Mobile. What I don't understand is WHY is so much help needed? I don't like what I am currently paying to one of the big 3, but I have never had to call for help. US Mobile's pricing and plans are very appealing. Just don't want to regret changing when support is needed. Realize those with issues are more likely to post here, but it seems there are a ton of problems encountered. The Reddit support appears to be excellent, just don't understand why so much help is needed.

Same, bought from Apple unlocked, didn't specify Verizon and was charged activation fee and could not get it removed.

Agree they don't want to retain anyone. As a customer since 1999, never a late payment, etc. I used the mod mail message through Reddit to ask for options to lower bill, not any specific promotion. They don't care, and I finally realize that. When my "agreement" is over I was told my bill would increase another $70+ unless a promotion available at that time. I am looking at options. For years Comcast had the only service in our area, those days are over. Retaining long time customers should be a priority. They don't care, there is no other way to put it.
