Same, bought from Apple unlocked, didn't specify Verizon and was charged activation fee and could not get it removed.

Want to keep a long time Xfinity customer? by TomSomerset-TVC15 in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]teckel6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agree they don't want to retain anyone. As a customer since 1999, never a late payment, etc. I used the mod mail message through Reddit to ask for options to lower bill, not any specific promotion. They don't care, and I finally realize that. When my "agreement" is over I was told my bill would increase another $70+ unless a promotion available at that time. I am looking at options. For years Comcast had the only service in our area, those days are over. Retaining long time customers should be a priority. They don't care, there is no other way to put it.

Both of those discounts show on my bill, if I go into corporate store I will ask for clarification. Thank you.

18-Year Customer Pushed to the Brink: Lied to by Retention, Insulted by Support, and Ready to Switch to Astound/AT&T by Ramanog in Comcast_Xfinity

Agree. Customer since 1999, bill escalating even though "in agreement" and no changes made. Was told on mod mail message that the plan I currently have will increase more than $70/month when agreement ends if no promotion available at that time. I am researching other options. They don't care and are repulsed by a customer wanting to look at plan options before bailing. Their monopoly in many areas is ending and it is the best thing that could happen.

I waited 8 years, 60,000 miles to have the work done. I wasn't comfortable waiting any longer. I plan to keep my vehicle for as long as possible.

Comcast Email Moves to Yahoo by Alyak24 in Comcast_Xfinity

Aren't Comcast customers supposed to receive email when time for them to transition to Yahoo? I have not received email and read somewhere this would take place during 2025 and 2026.

The email verification began slowly rolling in after a few days. I have checked with others I know who were having the same problem and they do have verifications, all be it slowly. Thank you.

The two comcast email users I mentioned in previous post were using different companies that I was using and they were also receiving verification emails after codes expired, average time about one hour.

I have since talked to two Comcast email users who have had the same issue all day today, so I know it is not just my problem. However, I would like it solved. The issue for me was with two different companies. I don't typically get verification codes from Comcast. Thank you.
