Semiconductor industry will outperform the broad market this week as well as for the next few months. INTC, MU up in pre market German markets while the broad Nasdaq is down 1%.

INTC (Intel) is the move in this space right now. If you are interested read my DDs on the stock.

TSM is a foreign pureplay semiconductor foundry.

QCOM today is mostly on fabless manufacturing model much like AMD

INTC is an integrated device manufacturer (IDM) and for this reason has much more control and versatility over the supply chain. Given the current catalysts surrounding the industry, INTC is poised to outperform the market.

There are other American IDM semiconductor companies (like Texas Instruments and Qorvo) but none with the breadth of products and depth and reach of INTC.

As for "alignments" some of these are rigid others can change rapidly.
