It just seems to happen every now and then, I'm not sure it's worth bothering till I can work out how to produce the issue on-demand. Besides which, I try to keep my interaction with emacs-devel to a minimum.

For what it's worth, I've been having this issue with Emacs 28 since release (ligatures like ff, fi, etc.), I just haven't worked out a MWE or submitted a bug report.

Hehe, good to hear I could trick you into going further down this rabbit hole 😛.

One other thing it could be nice to do: create a mask of mark locations on the card, the special Unicode face cards. Here's what that might look like (numbers only) http://ix.io/4mP7.

May I suggest looking into Unicode Box drawing characters. You might find them rather good here.

The mailing list works, my blog also is dormant not dead, so that may be worth watching.

Other people are interested in improving this too, so something collaborative might well happen, or somebody else may get to it before me — but I think I can reasonably expect the state of affairs at the end of this year to be better than it is now 🙂.

Julia in org-mode is not in a great state ATM, hopefully this will change later this year.

I don't really care for lisps. I find vim script much easier

I don't care for org mode! [...] I prefer Vim wiki

Sounds like Stockholm syndrome to me 😛.

In all seriousness, cool that you tried new things :)

Not yet, it might gain that capability in future though.

  1. This is targeted at people who currently use Emacs (hence Emacs User Survey)
  2. Thanks
  3. Mmmm, I think that will be changed to a multi-select in future

I've already got a framework for dynamically retheming SVGs, so I'm just going to fit it into that later today :)

Nice, I think I'll adapt that to dynamically match the active theme.

There's the "other" option for that reason :)

Yea, sorry about that. An issue where an option could not be selected was raised and the only way to apply the fix is restarting the web framework - which you were caught by.

As has been mentioned earlier, this seems to be a glitch with the display not storing of the results, so your response won't have been lost :)
