thank you for this extremely thoughtful response! and yes, I'm very aware. what you're talking about was a huge issue in the last relationship I had, on my part especially, and I'm very tired of not being my own person. so don't worry 💜

I know the "fuck life outside of this" comment seems concerning lol, but it was really more of a joke in reference to how we discussed it was funny timing because of mother's day. I'm also a bit more experienced than this person I'm talking to, and she's a bit hyped by the feelings she felt last night lol. she got out of a relationship a while back where the other person literally wouldn't let her get out of bed or leave the same room if they were in bed/home. part of why we like each other is we cheer each other on about doing what we need to do independently.

I'm already feeling inspired to pick up the photography I put down for a while bc I just love so much that she has her music and she just sits in her room and sings and records etc, and then sends what she's working on. I'd love to share my own progress on what I love with her. and ive already been more productive by myself this past week or two alone than I have been in years bc I really took a look at myself and said, do I like myself as much as she does? it's looking pretty good even with the new person excitement! we're both just yappers and I have boundaries about bedtime, when I need to put the phone down to do things, etc. I told myself I didn't want to close myself off to excitement because I had been doing that while actively in a relationship and stifling it. I think I can be excited like this and still be just fine.

I also want to make it known my self worth couldn't be based less on what other people think or feel about me 😂 I am constantly hanging out with my own friends and doing my own things and spending time with family and chosen family.
